Coming back to NV

Post » Sat Jul 03, 2010 4:15 am

Im about to make my third attempt to finish the game. The faction system broke and turned everyone hostile on my first character.I was 103 hours in.A few weeks later I came back and tried a new character, then the faction system broke after about 6 hours.

So its now months later and I just want to know if this issue is fixed or even well known.Im on 360 and tried all the usual fixes like re installing etc.Im ready to give this game another chance but if it fails again....so any help is very welcome.

Don't bother. The game is broke and I really don't think it'll ever be fixed correctly. They are supposedly working on another patch. But don't hold your breath.

As I've said before, it's not broken for everyone - I finished the main quest recently with the only problem being a system freeze near the start (but I didn't lose any saved data) - I really don't understand why it's so inconsistent on both the 360 and PS3. Something that Bethesda needs to look into (assuming they're not already doing this).

No... Obsidian is trolling us, not Microsoft or Sony. Bethesda higher-ups thought that since FO3 got such a graet run, they should try to make a quick buck. And they did. But they also screwed us. They have now instilled a deep-seated distrust and loathing in their fanbase. I hope it was worth it, you dirty rat bastards.
