Hi guys
Been gone from the game for quite a while. But I felt the itch and now I'm jumping back in!
I attempt to play a Paladin type sword & shield/board in most RPGs/MMOs that I play.
I'd love to hear if you've attempted this character type and if so, how you created your Paladin toon.
I've played the game on and off since it released 7? years ago. Wow time flies! Rolled a handful of characters, but never stuck with it longer than a high teens or mid 20 lvls. Mostly getting bogged down with not "playing" the game,
but rather trying to use certain skills to raise certain attributes. It just became tedious and eventually not fun. But I think I have a better handle now on how the mechanics work, and plan on doing my best to not "worry" as much
about micro-managing and simply plan on playing as naturally as I can and just quest and explore.
That said, I decided to try to go with the following:
Favorite Attributes:
Strength & Willpower
Majors:
Blade
Heavy Armor
Alteration
Restoration
Armorer
Block
Speechcraft
Went with a Briton for the increased Magicka.
Does that look like it'll be a viable build?
And I also had a few other questions, if I may
The Knights of the Nine quest line. I was wondering, would you'd suggest waiting to do this at some point later in the game. Early, Mid or Late? Rational?
Early on when I first played the game, I tried doing a few side quests and then moving on into the Main quest, returning the amulet and spawning the Oblivion gates. Due to my inexperience and most likely poor ability, I had quite a
hard time in the Daedra-lands.
So eventually I simply skipped that and just began working on any/all other quests I came across. But I'd really like to work through the main story/quest. I think I have a better understanding of the game mechanics now.
Can you keep playing, exploring, questing "after" you finish the main quest?
Would love as much insight into the Oblivion play/path as anyone would care to give.
Thanks & Best Regards
