I see topics like the title on forums and Facebook (which I normally try to steer clear of) frequently now. What's the point of them?
"Like if you hate world hunger, keep scrolling if you're a rapiist." Are they just trying to shock people with words like that?

I imagine this thread will be locked. I've never seen what you are describing so I really can't comment. But on a cancer related note, I lost my father and both my wife's parents to cancer.

I've only heard the 'you're Hitler' thing in conversation as a joke, and it still annoys me. Someone ate the last cookie and now they're Hitler...whatever,

I think the point is pretty obvious - to get people to like their comment...

Same with the stupid "Mom says if I get 1,000,000 likes"... It's all just attention [censored].

They do it for likes and attention.

It fools all the gullible people.

For attention, like the people in YouTube comments who are like "give me X likes and I'll sing this song out loud I my class"; sad people.

I don't really know how people believe and fall in this [censored].

The crying for attention, it is really REALLY obvious.

I erased my Facebook account months ago because I realised how little I care about people's [censored] and their fake emotions and smiles. Besides, I don't want some little kid to [censored] with me from the safety of their home.

The worse thing of all is that people actually react to this trash. That's what keeps these [censored]s going.

It's fishing for likes. Feels good to get likes.
