They shouldnt even bother with this, everyones just going to use teamspeak anyway, look at wow they got a perfect voice system built in now and no one ever uses it because people just want to keep using their third party tools.

Yes: But it depends on how well it works, otherwise I'll just not use it. Wouldn't want a screaming kid in my ear as soon as I enter a dungeon (for example).
Yes: I am perfectly able, but, talking instead of typing goes faster and you don't have to stop what you're doing just to stop and type.

Yes: Support via voice is easier. Less confusion, goes faster, yada yada yada, and I hate having a convo over text messages/sms.

Not really true. First there was none, so people were "forced" to use teamspeak. When it finally was implemented it didn't work, so people stuck with teamspeak. Eventually nobody even cared about it or even thought about it.
If they can implement a really good working voice support, with the option of creating channels, password protection etc, just as good latency as teamspeak/skype that Don't affect your game play performance, then I don't see why it wouldn't be good idea.

I remember wow chat, boy that was a pile of rubbish, I've yet to see an MMO do a voice chat support particularly well, I've always just stuck with 3rd party programmes, TS, Vent, Raidchat or Skype.

I'm very happy to see that many people would like a voice support
I want to be able to speak with anyone and not just with my mates by 3d party programs.
This should really help to make more social connections and new friends ^^

I like the idea of implementing proximity voice chat, as in the real world. Excluding friends/guildmates/group/party, if you want to say something to someone, you have to be face to face, or let's say for example 5m distance.

Kind of adds a touch of realism in my opinion.

It would be an interesting feature but only works if everyone buys into it. If it's optional and not everyone chooses to use it, it won't work.
