Community Apocrypha:

Wulfharth

Welcome all.

If you're wondering, this thread isn't anything to do with Hermaeus More, or his realm of Oblivion. Instead, this thread is about Wulfharth.

This is the first in our community project 'Community Apocrypha'. I really had no idea what to name this and I figured, what better to name a lore project about than the realm of endless knowledge? Anyway, I digress. In case you are not aware a fair amount of discussion has been going on in the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1426196-lore-gathering-idea/. It would probably best if you checked it out if you haven't already to get an idea of what this is about. For all those tl;drs then basically, this is a lore project (who'd have guessed) where we all decide on a topic and contribute as much lore as we can/want to the thread with as many sources as possible. If it's a theory that you want to contribute then that's fine, as long as you have some evidence to back up your point.

At the end of the thread, though I'm not sure how long it will last, I will put all the information in to a document and upload it for everybody to see.

The purposes of this is clear, for everybody to learn lore while giving some at the same time and for us, as a community to have fun. If you don't want to participate then that's fine, as long as you don't flame. Criticism (constructive) is encouraged if you have something to say. That's all really, though there are a couple of basic guidelines.

*No Arguing. This is incredibly annoying for reading through posts and defeats half the object of this project.

*Discussion isn't a nono, but it should only really be done if your point or information contradicts another.

*Have fun and learn.

If anybody has a suggestion for the next topic, then please, mail me.

Now, on to this specific event, or whatever it should be called.

This thread's topic is Wulfharth, as you can all see. There are a few sources lying around in game: The Five Songs of Wulfharth (Book), his plaque in WIndhelm... These are the major sources but there are quite a few other references as well.

Books:

*Rislav the Righteous

*The Arcturian Heresy

*Shezarr and the Divines

*The Song of Pelinal, v5

*Before the Ages of Man

*The Last King of the Ayleids

There are probably more, a bonus if you can find some but these are the main ones.

You should make sure you quote sources if you are able, try your best. Probably the best way to start is to lay out the basics e.g who he was, who he came from...

Unfortunately I will not be able to contribute for a few hours ad I have a lot of work and doing this has taken up enough time already, but I do hope that people want to and do participate.

That's all from me for now,

Zae out
