I just saw something else that needs fixing:
You can't change suit modes if you're driving a vehicle??? I wasn't aware of this, and it actually got me killed. I tried something I always did in Crysis 1, and it didn't work; Drove a vehicle behind enemy lines, with cloak turned on (or so I thought), and got out expecting to be cloaked.
There aren't as many actual gameplay options at your disposal, that's the problem. The game areas are big enough, and have plenty of stuff to see, so that is easily forgivable. What's not forgivable is the little things that aren't there anymore. You put the little things back into Crysis 2, this game will easily beat out games like Call of Doody: Crap Ops.
*edit*
Speaking of vehicles, tires on vehicles should pop like they did in Crysis 1. In Crysis 1, it actually looked like a popped tire, you could see the inside of the wheel and everything, and it made sparks on paved surfaces. Crysis 2, a tire pops, it's like the tire just gets smaller, doesn't actually pop.
