He'll definitely have his panther if I can figure out how to handle it. The other NPCs will make an appearance too.

As we discussed through PM Sulteric, I will help you out. Indeed I had the idea of a Drizzt Driven story for the Underdark, but this is a better idea :D

@JDFan - I still have those blades, was planning to use them, I also shown them to Sulteric before :P

Sorry couldn't remember who I had made them for - Glad to hear you still have plans for them.

@Sulteric - for the panther I know there is a ranger companion mod that has a black panther in it you might want to check (unfortunately Nexus is giving me an IPS error right now so I can't look it up for you)

Thats Ok, I think they may be used in this mod instead, since me and Sulteric had similar mod ideas.

Its giving me an ISP error too, but from what I can recall it will be easy enough to add a sumomable panther to the game.

There's actually a mod out there for it somewhere.

Though that might be my opinion.

Eeek. OBSE. Hmmm, I seem to remember one that was specifically modeled after his panther. I'll see if I can find it.

edit

Found one. Allows you to summon one just like him using a statue, just like Drizzt does. It's called "Plane of Dread". I need to deconstruct it and see how it works. All the meshes and textures are there. Should be easy.

You could have just used JDFan's and had UK47 work on Drizzt's armor.

Edit: Any pictures of the weapons? :D

Think he planned on a different interpretation of them ! -http://www.nassaulibrary.org/centreblog/Drizzt27.jpg he posted earlier (which is great as it gives more variety !!) - look forward to seeing what UK47 came up with

Well, to nitpick, JDFans swords, while fantastic looking, are based on artists versions of Drizzt swords, though they are canonically wrong. Scimitars and sabers are curved and its the curve that makes them so efficient in cutting soft flesh and in books it is constantly reminded that Drizzt's swords are sleek, well balanced and curved. I was never fan of these modern artist interpretations as they are basically just long swords with one side dull badly balanced due to constantly thick blade. Functionally horrid and canonically wrong.

sigh, real sword fan and drizzt-geek inside of me strikes again... :)

Oh I see, I thought he was working with the usual concepts, Sorry :embarrass:. Still the artists should all work with the same concepts for Drizzts look, I prefer the ones seen in the http://www.o-love.net/realms/covers_large/pic_hun3.jpg.

Still gives me two versions to play with :D

I agree, but still they look sweet :). I think the artists picked cool looking over functional, for years each artist has had his/her own idea on how Drizzt would look. Anyway another variant on the swords is a nice addition.

Thats the best version I have seen also. Sleek, mildly curved and balanced looking.

The ones he did aren't curved. I'll see if he can adjust them.

The formation of a storyline is starting to take place. One thing is known for sure at this point. The story will involve Drizzt Do'Urden. It will also feature Viconia DeVir, a Chapter Three if you will although the focus will be on Drizzt. It will take place after the events of Viconia's Return to the Underdark.

This is a LONG way out. We're just starting to piece things together now. Stoker's continuation is currently in the writing phase.

I actually have a picture you may be able to base him off of. hair style is similar to the wind braids, just much longer. Also the core look I used for my drow. Best look I think, plus the armor could be easily done I think... ebony, or leather armor done black.

so many renditions of drizzt, but this might be one of the best to work off of.

Story ideas are moving forward, with the basic outline thrashed out (pending changes due to technical limitations). Story has been made roughly compatible with Forgotten Realms lore and with TER lore. It is lore friendly or unfriendly on about the same level as anything that happens in an individual DMs campaign as compared to an official setting, which is to say that reasonable efforts are being made not to break immersion. If your immersion is automatically broken by plane travel from one official setting to another, fair enough, and this probably isn't the right mod for you. Personally, I think it looks like it will be excellent.

I'm hoping this will break Viconia Chapter Two''s record of 80+ stages and amount of voiced dialog. Stoker's story is going well and I should be starting the actual work soon.

The way it's going it'll shape up like this time-line wise:

Stoker Wolff Chapter Two -> Viconia Chapter Two - Drizzt.

I am taking some time off after the vampire hunter is finished. I will be working with the MERP team. Whether I decide to go forward with Part IV of the Underdark Saga including Viconia and Drizz't will be based purely on requests.

If you want it, speak up. Otherwise it dies at part III.

I want also but if you really don't want to do it that is understandable, you have done great work on the others and I'm really looking forward to the Vampire Hunter.
