Companion Fleeing During Combat Bug!

I seem to have a bug (companion flees during all combat, ALWAYS!) that occurred after my companion, Jericho, was struck by a radioactive gore grenade from a feral ghoul Reaver which I have confirmed (In the radioactive sewers between Grayditch and Red Racer Factory).

I've tried to send him home, kill him, unequipped his weapons/armor. Nothing seems to be working.

My game is pretty stable until I play more then 2 or 3 hours then it gets choppy and I have to exit to desktop. So stablity isn't an issue as i've been mostly bug free, currently level 21... so any suggestions would be great, THANKS

I can go back to a save where he does not flee then have him be struck by a gore grenade and the bug re-occurs.

To me, it sounds like something is scripted to set confidence of 0 on the mob that is struck by the thingie.

try selecting Jericho in console and do:

setav confidence 4

or you might need to type

prid 00003B5D
setav confidence 4

I think thats how to do it from console anyway.

It worked! Thank you so much for your help Tarrant, BTW I love your phalanx mod, I heard it will be integrated into the latest version of FOOK2, is this true?

Yeah. That version of FOOK is almost to beta test stage.

...But the [censored] FOOK forum is crashed again, which is a tremendous pain in the ass, it's the communication hub for the people who are working on the thing. I hate that damn thing I swear, I just want it to be there when you need it.
