At one point, I had used Boone as a companion, and I would like to get him back. I told him to go to the Lucky 38. However, he will not leave the presidential suite with me, despite acknowledging that he is once again my companion. Is there any way to get him to follow me again?

This is an odd one... almost afraid to ask Boone to help me again. Have you tried recruiting, and sending back to the Lucky 38 again? Or, better yet, have you tried recruting and sending him to Novac instead of the Lucky 38?

Does anyone have problem getting Boone to activate his wife's side quest? I looked at FNV wiki and have done everything the wiki suggested but I can never get Boone to talk about his wife to do his side quest.

You might have to wait until you're at a certain part of the storyline. I know some companions quests are like that, Arcade Gannon, for instance.
