I was decorating my house in Solitude and organizing my things, moving stuff from my other houses to the bigger one and when I was done and ready to get Brenor to come back adventuring with me, he was gone!

I just used the "wait here" dialogue option; I didn't dismiss him from my service.

I have no idea where he could have gone to or how I can get him back (since I can't find his PRID anywhere).

I believe that they'll "get tired of waiting" eventually and return back to wherever their home base is. For your house carls, that would be in your house in the city they're from. For other companions, it's wherever you picked them up from the first time, most likely. My friend said that his companion eventually returned home. The game displays a message about your companion going back to their base location when this happens. It's the same way in Fallout 3 if you've played it.

I can't find my companion either, I don't know if shes dead or not : (

Ah. Thanks. That's what happened, it looks like. Found him back in Morthal. I freaked out a little at first though because he was in his normal gear instead of the stuff I gave him, but it was all in his inventory he just wasn't wear it.

I've lost like 4 or 5 companions so far,all due to death.At least there're quite a number of available companions in this game.

Theres actually an enourmous amount of companions you have in the game, I just wish the game would better tell us what has happened to them, instead of treating them like expendables. Some of us get attached to our followers.
