Hi how do I get started with them I heard doing three quests in a row will do it but nothing

Generally, you need to travel a lot with your human companions to trigger their quests. Visit locations of significance to them, they will start talking unprovoked, commenting on the environment. When you have visited enough locations, they will talk to you to start the quest.



Don't ask for more. You'll just ruin it for yourself.

If you really can't figure it out:

. Veronica: Visit a large Legion outpost and a large NCR outpost, she tells you this.
. Boone: In quests, kill Legion with him.
. Raul: Talk to old, but useful, people with him.
. Arcade: Go to locations reminiscent of the Old World.
. Cass: Just talk to her and follow her quest ( Heartaches by the Number)
. Lily: Witness one of her emotional breaks and talk to her about it.
. Rex: Talk to the king about him, then follow his quest.
. EDE: Converse with people about the Enclave, Poseidon Energy, Helios One with EDE following you,

Just basically talk to most of them.
