[RELZ] Companion Share & Recruit v3

Post » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:04 am

Tonight...I discovered that one of my companions is cursed with magically replicating cheese wedges!

I encountered this with Maelona in Anvil. I seem to recall that the problem was that her character was set up with negative cheese wedges. I just checked and she starts the game with -1 cheese wedges. If you use a hunger mod, maybe you can quit buying food, but you player might get tired of cheese.

Aha! That's it. It's Henetier in Bravil. His inventory is set to have -2 cheese wedges.
Thanks. Guess it wasn't Companion Share after all.

Aright folks, move along, nothing to see here.
I went around the other night and gave every beggar I found a hundred pieces of cheese. :biglaugh:

This is not CM Partner.
That mod adds NPCs which are specifically scripted to be companions.
Companion Share and Recruit lets you recruit EXISTING npcs as companions.

So you can make friends with anyone in the game and take them adventuring.
It also has a really slick real-time orders system and they are smart enough to automatically heal each other, loot and so-forth.

It might be slightly confusing...not sure what would happen if you 'recruited' an existing CM Companion...but it's supposed to be compatible to quote the author

"The mod is built for compatibility and flexibility, and will work alongside any and all companion mods, overhaul mods and so on, as well as allowing custom companions to be created with the minimum of effort."

Wow. This sounds really cool. It looks like OBSE is becoming more and more inevitable for me...
