So, what he just doesn't know how to use it? Doesn't know how to stick himself with stimpaks until the poison fades? I mean really now.

You'd think they would know since people like to claim they have good AI.

The AI is still good. Leagues above Skyrims if that's what you're implying. They have backstories, emotions, and smarts. Just sometimes the confuse me.

the game was rushed. perhaps if they had another year to complete, the ability to use anti-venom would have been included.

There's a mod for that...probably

Yeah if there is poison in a future game hopefully the game will be updated to cure themselves.
