Compass Clutter

Post » Sun Jan 12, 2014 4:07 pm

So this is not a bug, just a suggestion to help clear some clutter from the compass and make traveling around cities easier, at least for some people.

Make it so you can choose which quests to display on the compass, having too many quests in one area on the compass makes it difficult to find out where you want to go.

And even though this is an open world MMO, and I love it for that matter, allow us to show where the shop/crafting areas are on our compass. It's both helpful for the new players and takes the hassle out of opening the map and complete pausing out movement to get someplace where we will be visiting often. It also makes it easier to learn the cities.

I feel this is a topic that only Beta players would discuss. And that breaks the NDA.
Use the Beta forums.

  • The Elder Scrolls Online beta test is under NDA (non-disclosure agreement); you shouldn’t be discussing details of the test in public places such as these forums, social media, streaming video, et cetera. If you’ve gotten in, it’s OK to let people know that, but you can’t say anything else about the test.
  • We have a private forum for the ESO Beta; the account information you need to log-in was sent with your beta invite.
  • If you are having trouble, or otherwise need help; you can check for solutions on our http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/, search the help section of the ESO beta forums, submit a http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/ask, or call customer support (details can be found in your invite). It’s very difficult for us to help if you ask here or on our social media channels, and chances are any such requests would break NDA.
  • For information on the Server Status you can check for http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail2/a_id/4320 or on the beta test forums.
  • If people post other threads about beta, or break the NDA; please let them know of their error politely and direct them to this thread. If content needs to be removed you should report it with the button found under every post.
