Its not actually turning it off though? And it removes everything else aswell

Or wait, can we turn the opacity for the different elements individually? Cause then.. Sweet

This is very good news to me! I disliked having the compass at the top of the sky, as it creates such a big contrast to the sky and always blocks it.

Er, but that's not really the same as a compass toggle... I'd love to turn down the opacity far enough to not see the compass, but I sure as heck want it high enough to see my health bars. (Assuming that's what he meant by "bars").

Pfft...they shouldn't include a HUD in the first place! ...ahem. This is good news, although I'd be shocked if that wasn't an option. All the more reason to use that Map in the preorder for navigation.

^"compass, crosshair OR bars"

You seem to have missed the "or"-part.

Edit: Darn you ninjas with your reflexes.

What is the difference between making it completely invisible and turning it off? Nothing.

I read it as you can change the opacity of each... But I guess you could read it as "all or nothing"

Edit* Ahh, I see you edited your post. That is how I read it. I tweeted Pete about it to avoid any further confusion.
