Now a lot of ppeople are against the ideas of arenas for these reasons.
It will bring people out of Cyrodill.
It will kill "world PvP"
It ruins balance.
Okay so I have came up with a different idea for "competitive PvP"
Okay their will be special ccampaigns, that a player can not queue up into but a guild has to.
So your guild gets put into a Cyrodill with 4 other guilds (depending on a guild rating based on your guilds total alliance points) (5 guilds per faction, 500 players per faction 1500 players in total. )
each guild gets to bring 100 players.
Players can queue up for their own Private Cyrodill still and if you are in a "guild" campaign another guild can't invite you to there guild campaigns.
Now here is the part that makes it competitive other then fun guild rivalries and alliances.
The two choices are this.
Option A
Every player has 5 lives(if your faction runs out of players your alliance is removed) also you can buy more lives for alliance points, You as a player
Or
Option B
Each alliance has a leader you can kill that removes your alliance from that campaign.
Maybe even a mix of Option A and B.
The campaign will end after a month or when there is a winner.
This adds a more competitive feel to Cyrodill without forcing small instanced fights that players dislike.
So how do you guys feel about this?
I mean if you don't like this you don't have to queue up for it also it wouldn't require the developers to put their effort into a "PvP mini game" since this system I feel could be easily implemented.
