I just watched this on my 1080p projector - looks gorgeous!

Excellent work putting this piece together. The images and framegrabs that were up-rezzed turned out very nicely for 1080p, .

Thanks for the answer, but those links weren't new to me ... the pics I had'nt seen must be the ones from the trailer itself (maybe I didn't realize them, because they were shown to quickly and I didn't watch it in slow motion yet - but I will do this now ! ... so thanks again for the impetus. :wink_smile: ).

This has probably been discussed (and probably discussed too much) but that's a redguard holding the sword at 2:59, right?

Hard to tell, I'd say it's an Imperial, though. I don't quite see the 'darkness' of the skin there, as a Redguard is supposed to have. Perphaps the hair... I don't know.

I dunno....by the way sweet compilation man, and i don't want to turn this into the tavern ork/high elf debate but i'm still pretty convinced that's a redguard - the face, the dark cropped hair and the darkish/red skin color, and if its is a redguard they look to have been greatly improved over the previous games.

I'm very sure that's an Imperial. He looks just like http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l22/angrychinchilla/nirnroot.jpg, and the person in both pictures is/are too white to be a Redguard, IMO. Can't say exactly why I think it's an Imperial and not a Breton though.

I don't think we have seen a single Redguard yet.

? That doesn't make any sense to me. How can Pete confirm an NPC out of the gameplay-trailer back in January, when only the announcement trailer was published ? How did anybody know of this fighting-scene back then ?

Well, there is another character (NPC) that some believe is a Redguard in the Tavern, a bartender.

Perhaps that is the image Todd Howard was commenting about?

I don't know. This discussion was shortly after the Game Informer release.

I have no opinion, with respect to race of the character at 2:59 in the video topic of this thread.
