A compiled list of concerns

Also, I don't think that players will be able to see their feet (even when sliding) since in every video that shows players sliding, feet are not visible. It may add to the "realism," but it add nothing to the gameplay and can essentially detract from gameplay, having feet visible on screen while players are trying to shoot, slide around, so it is essentially....useless.

The problem with that is, the videos where they actually slide, don't even have a visible HUD. I looked before I asked the question. So who knows, It might be in the game, it might not.

Also in most FPS games, you can't see your own shadow. But in Brink you can, so I think it would be a little weird to look down and see your shadow coming off (being created by) nothing.

The early builds of the game had a very minimalist HUD, where things would only pop up as you needed them. Apparently players weren't very fond if it, because there are no traces of it in any of the new videos.

I find hard to believe that because the HUD was disabled, it disabled feet as well. Disabling the HUD serves a purpose - to show an unobtrusive view of the game. Disabling the feet of the player when he slides - makes no sense. If anything, you think they would want to show a little detail like that off.

If I had to choose one or the other, I would probably like the legs to be in the game. But its such a small detail that it doesn't really matter to me, you don't end up looking down all that often, and when you do, you aren't going to be doing it to look at your nice pants.

Edit: And actually, with all the customization in Brink, they might have to put a whole lot of time into making every pair of pants work. Putting time into a detail that most people don't care about is a bit silly when you're strapped for time anyway.
