Complete edition : Fallout: New Vegas

Makes me a little sad it's considered the "Ultimate Edition". I thought GRA might have been one of a few "booster pack" DLC.

Saying that, if they release the "Ultimate edition" with extra content, it's only fair that they also release that content as a patch or extra DLC for regular players.

Think about it: Otherwise they're rewarding new players that are buying the whole thing for cheaper than those of us that were loyal enough to buy each and every DLC that came out at full price!

No, the people who have waited and couldn't get the DLC otherwise can now finally get the DLC all at once, and 'new players' arn't always new, some of them bought the vanilla game before and have to buy it again, and it will still cost them the same amount of money to get it.

Also they weren't lying, Game of the Year is different than Ulitmate... :rolleyes:

... I may have to consider getting it now. The middle of my disc just randomly started to chip and crack, and I tried playing it once, and it is all messed up.

Finally! I never buy online DLC's. Definitely gonna buy it! But I have to ask: How does it work when you already own a copy of vanilla NV (on PC)? Do you have to uninstall it? How does Steam react when you activate a game you already own? I'm confused.

It works just like FNV. One code, one installer. If you already own the base game, it will just install the other stuff (and you can check what you want to install, if you don't want all of the Courier's Stash stuff).

Good Q. hopefully install disk, the Beth Blog says "comes complete with all of the game add-on content", hopefully that means disk :hubbahubba:

PS3 is one disc, everything integrated. 360 is two discs. Disc 1 is what you already have (if you own the game on 360). Disc 2 is the DLC installer. No XBL account necessary, and no codes. Just that installer disc.

I bought four of the five DLC's last month, so I won't be buying this. Dead Money and the mini DLC's aren't worth it.

If this is true then why did Devs constantly pitch that there wasn't going to be a so called GotY edition. Was it a marketing ploy to get more people to buy the DLC? I will just end up trading in my old edition for this anyways just to have a hard copy of the DLCs.

It just seems silly to me at times what companies due when there worried about the bottom line. Would have been easier just to say "were not sure" or "yes", I think.

It's not a so called GOTY edition. It's a so called ultimate edition. There is a difference.

That's what I want to know as well. Is it going to require Steam?
Or is gamesas going to join us in the 21st century and become a progressive game developer like CDProjekt? OK, wishful thinking there, I know.

Yes, the Ultimate Edition uses Steam, just like normal New Vegas.

Also, I never said we wouldn't do a compilation version (I never answered those questions). I *did* say that we wouldn't do a retail release of DLC like they did with Fallout 3. And we're not.

Here's hoping they fix all the bugs before releasing it, or the manual is gonna need some updating.
