Skyrim is in the midst of some sort of civil war. That much we get from the trailer. Somethings gonna appear (dragons) during this civil war, and theres going to be a hero- Dovakhin, possibly the Dragonborn, but Dragonborn could mean wayyy to many things to be certain, ie another person, a weapon etc.
Decoding the back of the games cover reveals further clues (see game informer's website...) in the form of a thing with black wings, and independently verifie by me and others, a name- Alduin, which isn't given in the translation tables... Alduin is the Nordic (the people of skyrim) representation of the imperial deity, Akatosh, whom Martin Septium sorta becomes an avatar of.
Basically, as far as I can see, the main protagonist will be the Aedra Akatosh, in his Nordic guise, which is weird, as they're predominantly "good" when compared the the Daedric Four Corners. There's gonna be the usual bs low level questing at the beginning, followed by becoming/finding the Dragonborn, fulfilling the prophecies and fighting dragons...
Of course, this still doesn't take into account the whole Akavir angle, and Beth have only mentioned it twice recently, with the Akaviri armour the Blades use, and that the Nerevarine went to Akavir, after banishing the cliff racers. Given Martin's transformtion in Oblivion, and the translations, and the fact that the Akaviri aren't actual dragons per se, I think the whole Alduin/Akatosh thing is wayyy stronger.
Especially given that in Nordic mythos, Alduin will return as a blcak beast devouring everything (world eater), in the midst of a Skyrim civil war, and he's frequently referred to as a great firey beast... Dragon?
Yes, I'm aware there are gaping holes in my ideas. So discuss... I'd rather have input given today's reveals... Flesh it out , tear it apart, whatever...
And I'm not a huge lore buff, so I'm gonna get bits wrong.
Hehe, I could be wrong, just my two cents lol. I'm gonna go get drunk...
