Is anyone else going to try and unlock all of the Skyrim achievements on their first playthrough? I am going to try, but I don't think my playstyle or the adaptations from Fallout 3 will permit it. Do you guys think it will be doable?

I don't think you should use the word "achievements" you might offend some pc, and ps3 players lol.... but back to the point YESS!!!! I will for sure be trying to get all the achievements for skyrim, i did it for oblivion (took me forever though), and i will damn sure at least try to get them all in skyrim. lol

I hoped that most of the achievements won't be able to be done on a single playthrough. So that most people who first play the game would at some point make a second character and have double the fun

Of course. I don't care if it's all in one play-through, though. That may very likely be impossible.

Well, seeing as how Skyrim will be on the list of Games For Windows I would assume you can unlock achievements for the PC version and to the PS3 guys, trophies.

I won't try for an "all-in-one" achievement playthrough...but I have a feeling I will end up getting all of them through sheer perseverance, if nothing else.

I tend to think that it won't be doable, because of the branching nature of some of the quests. (Some theorized, others confirmed or at least "confirmed"). If there's at least two different endings (assuming that you can side with one faction over the other and have it affect the outcome in a real and tangible way) then you'll have to do at least two playthroughs.

Steamworks (PC) calls them achievements, so yeah...

I specifically don't do everything with my first character, helps keep repeat playthroughs fresh. :)

I'd like some more unique achievements. Oblivion had alright achievements, but they were all just about progressing through the game. It'd be fun if they had achievements like Traveling 10,000 miles on foot or discovering some random easter egg. Stuff like that that is more out of the ordinary and fun when it pops up cuz a lot of times you don't know what the achievement even is.

I try to get all achievements in all my games. I also like seeing how many I can get in the first playthrough. Seeing how I usually put 100+ hours in games like Skyrim I'm really not keen on multiple playthoughs.

I figure I will do 3 playthroughs in Skyrim. I will have my warrior(sword and shield), rogue(stealth with dual daggers), and wizard(pure caster). I like challenges and proving people wrong so we'll see if 100% completion is doable in one playthrough.
