I play Argonians in general, then Nords and Bosmer.
This time I think I'll play all the races maybe except an Imperial.

Orc for all!

1. Nord. Vikings, no more explanation needed.
2. Dunmer. I like Dunmer lore and such, and they are sixy :wub:
3. Redguard. Love their lore and have several ideas on how to roleplay cool Redguard characters.

10. Bosmer. They are small, ugly hippies with pointy ears.

Played dunmer mostly in MW, breton mostly in OB, superfreak mostly in daggerall.

I like the argonians and khajiit, the first few characters that I make are from these races.
The most annoying race that I'm not going to try is bosmer (because they were so annoying in Oblivion, sorry but that voice acting was terrible!!!)

1. Bretons. Because they are the best.
2. Bretons okay, I will play along. Altmers, I have one as a main in Daggerfall.
3. Bretons duh, I don't really play other races much. But probably Orcs.

4. Khajiti. I do not like the concept.

Argonians are really that popular?

That don't seem right from my experience at all.

There is no choice for other.

I like to use custom races a lot. You'd be hard pressed to get me to use 90% of the races in the game.

Also there isn't an option for which races we'd never play.

My never votes are orc, kahjiit, argonian, nord, high elf, and redguard.

My most favorite is argonian/imperial/kajiit. My least favorite is wood elf. However I tried ALL the races in Mw and Ob and probably will in Skyrim too.

First race: Khajiit

Second race: Argonian

Third race: Orc


Least likely race: Any Elf

My first vote goes to the Nords, seeing as Skyrim is the homeland of the Nords, and Nordic culture is pretty damn awesome. The next two would be a toss-up between Orcs and Argonians, but I chose Argonians first for this poll, simply because I played a lot of Orcs in Oblivion and would like to change it up this time.




We are talking about Skyrim here, not modded Skyrim. We don't even know at this point if modding custom races will be possible with the Creation Engine (it probably will be, but you never know). I think it is way too early to start considering mods.

Also, 90%? Seeing as there are only 10 playable races, that would mean there is only one race you would use.

1 Dunmer
2 Khajiit (Jobasha and Ajira were 2 of my favorite characters in MW glad to see Khajiit looking so good in Skyrim)
3 Orc - now that they look sufficiently awesome along w/Khajiit

Last would be Imperial, always seemed boring to me.

I voted Dunmer for the first option, because they're by far my favourite race.

Next was Breton because Helena Aurelie is a Breton, and once I learn how the game works, she'll most likely head over to Skryim.

Next I voted Altmer because I enjoy playing Mages the most (pretty much my first 5 characters will be mages).

I probably won't ever play as an Orc. Although I've not seen their new look, so maybe.

Argonian/Khajit/Dunmer/WoodfuggingElves

I think thats more the new generation of gamers, because, lets say they look "different" .

But tbh My first few playthroughs since Morrowind were always Argonian, even when I didnt choose to play rogue/thieve like characters, I often went for a sneaky char that was still able to fight with swords n stuff

First: Since I don't know how the races play I cannot say for sure yet.
1) Might be the Nords. I know, I know.
2) I think it will be Imperial.
3) Breton. They used to be my fav, but I got bored with playing as one.
4) In OB and MW I would never play a Bosmer, but if they make them less annoying(and an option to make the males a bit taller) I might play one in Skyrim. Quite neutral towards the other races.

For Skyrim, my choices are the following:

2 Bretons (females - shamaness, bardess)
1 Nord (male - Friar Tuck type)
1 Redguard (female - Gypsy)

I don't really have any hate for the other races, but I do have my preferences.

My least favorite would be Argonian.
