So the days of being creative with concrete foundations are over (embedding industrial lights in them etc) on XBOX and I'd assume PS. Yeah, thanks for rushing to fix that, I mean, EVERYONE was complaining about it wasn't they.

You could do it with the old mat trick, you could embed just about anything in a concrete block with the old mat trick. Mat trick seems to be still working with some other things I've tried but they've now made concrete blocks un-matable.
Because you know, it was something that needed fixing........................... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
just use the mats with the object you want to hide inside the block, not the mats with the blocks to hide the object.
maybe i'm misunderstanding the problem (other than beth removing another glitch we love and use for very good reasons)...what are you no longer able to hide??
If I could paste a youtube link in here I'd show exactly what I mean. Any way to do it? just won't let me paste the link.

Does that work I wonder?
OK seems to. So you use a mat to embed a construction light into a concrete block and you get that cool night time effect.
But not anymore! Can't embed ANYTHING in concrete blocks no more because it was apparently a major bug..... sure it was.
Also it seems, that the electrical wires won't clip trough concrete foundations anymore after 1.04.
I was in build-mode, and accidentally pressed (X) on a wire. Quickly cancelled with (O) and the wire returned to it's original position. The problem is, that the wire stopped working alltogether. I can't even select it anymore. I mean it's visible, but not really there. Also on top of that, it was the wire powering my skyscraqer, and it went completely dark...
Edit:The "allready attached wires" still work, just whatever you do, do not even touch those wires.
All my wiring for Sanctuary is embedded inside my concrete walls so...
that's
just
great
news.
Thanks Bethesda!
Maybe do some experimenting, without saving of course? I made a mistake and saved the game after i messed up (didn't notice it first). Then report back, if this is indeed the case.
Thank god.. I think my game just glitched somehow.
Edit:Yep, it's working again. Needed to re-apply the power conduits for reasons unknown. Thanks!
I still think the whole wires not needing copper was one of the worst changes to the game as it makes no sense realistically. Wires outside your house are copper, they don't spawn out of thin air.
