That would be your video card, not Skyrim. To say a game destroys hardware is simply ludicrous.

So why did my card overheat and crash for Skyrim but no other game? :whistling: It was simple hyperbole. Of course it didn't destroy my card, that's not even what I said.

Looks like he's between a rock and a hard place. BUT! All joking aside these bugs don't get me, it's the quest bugs. I have had multiple of those which have actually prevented me from starting or completing quests.

Have you ever heard of Myth 2? Early copies literally destroyed your harddrive.

I see your Louis Letrush in the ground...and raise you one Louis Letrush standing next to the first Louis Letrush:

And btw, Obsidian made New Vegas using bethesda's dev tool, bethesda only published it (although I'll give you the part about it being beth's tool).

I'm more concerned with people dropping horses on me. Seriously, I'm just walking along the volcanic flats, looking for word walls, minding my own business, when all of a sudden a dead horse drops from nowhere just inches in front of my character.

... have dragons started to take up dive-bombing tactics to kill the dragonborn?!

Bethesda did not develope NV. I don't know how many times this has to be repeated.

DERP. Easy mistake to make considering that Bethesda Softworks published it...never really noticed that Beth Game Studios had no hand in it.

I got it. lol. Why so much hate on this page?

Yeah, I once found Lydia stuck completely in the side of a mountain. Like I couldn't see her but it said Talk Lydia and if I did it would just bring up the conversation. I nearly peed my pants, it was so random.

I've seen a horse half sticking out of a rock, that was interesting. I think the only one that really bugged me was when the foundation for Skyforge disappeared! The Skyforge itself and all the other items up there were all hanging in the air, but no way to climb up. I tried walking where the stairs should be but just fell down to a lower level. After reloading a current save and fast traveling different (can't remember exactly what all I did) it was finally back again.

I must say, I haven't had any major quest bugs/glitches or whatever happen to me yet. So the things that have happened (well other than skyforge) really haven't been that big a deal.

Yeah, I found that using a reanimate staff on a dragon skeleton didn't work, but it did launch the dragon about 200 meters. So, I made my own dragon invade Falkreath. Muahahaha!!! So yeah, I'm pretty sure Bethesda left that one in.

That bug isn't even that bad. And I don't see why everyone is complaining about New Vegas - I had much more problems with Fallout 3, especially the dlc. -_-

This. I don't mind mammoths occasionally spawning 60 feet in the air.
I recall someone requesting this remain in the game. I think mammoths just have too high of an Acrobatics skill...Oh wait.

The difference between Skyrim and New Vegas is that although they both had many bugs at release, New Vegas' bugs were almost all quest oriented and they usually destroyed quests and made them uncompletable, whereas in Skyrim most of the bugs are graphical, UI, or have to do with radiant quests, most of which are skippable and don't interfere with the larger quests.

Any game with Bethesda on it is a mess of bugs. Who cares who is the soul developer. You think when cars are made that we look at who the designer team was? Or do we look at the manufacture?

The point is, it has that name on the box, you bet it will be plagued with bugs. Regardless of there "experience" or longevity of creating the same open world games with a different scenery.

Just making a point, not bashing Skyrim or FONV it is just a record of previous titles with that name on it, it is known to be a buggy mess on release day and sometimes for several weeks.

I am not sure either, but I think there were more than one person working on Skyrim that did work on New Vegas or past Fallout games? I know there was Morrowind team members. Am I right?

Nearly every game is released with bugs these days... If you expected perfection on the games release, then I'm afraid the joke is on you.
