Did the article mention how they knew this? Honestly I seen magazine regurgitate stuff from the internet, its a popular theory.

Erm, no offense, but we've been knowing that since E3. How else could we have gotten into a Vault and survive for 200 years to emerge back to the outside world?

That's the smart money, and is a lot more viable than the dreaded "You're an Android/It was a simulation" angle people clung to in hopes of shaking off the chains of parenthood and monogamy.

We are surrounded by deadbeat dads/moms in this board.

I'm assuming this is what OP is talking about, its in the upcoming game informer magazine.

That's ashame. I thought it was a nightmare and that I was living in '50's America, married with a child, and that I could go about my day.

I actually got that issue of Game Informer about three days after posting that article, and can confirm that it is just as it appears. They don't cite a quote or source, but there's little in the article that seems to be intended as speculation. It's really just meant as a rehash of the E3 demo. As others have said, it's the most likely theory right now.

Yeah, like it says in the links, it's basically stated as fact. "You wake up from cryo sleep."

Darn! There goes my hopes of being preserved for 200 years in a giant SPAM can slathered in a preservative goo.

A-ha! An article that confirms my suspicions regarding the 200 year timeline.

Unless it comes from the gap in Bethesda's teeth, I wouldn't believe it.
