Confirmed Locations around the Boston Area

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:18 am

Looking back at the Fallout 4 footage from Microsoft conference, and the Kotaku Script leaks, I've picked out a few locations and figured I'd show people where they are for people who want to learn more about the potential Map size, and its contents.

The following shows the areas; Concord, Lexington, Quincy, and a reference to what is speculated to be the location of the Glowing Sea, according to concept art shown in the E3 Footage, and nicely presented by a Redditor: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/3bc1sj/fallout_4_the_glowing_sea_details_from_the/

All this shows that we will at least have some of the Northen and Southern sides of Boston, I for one hope there is a decent amount of Rural areas to explore and live in as well. (I'm no City Kid)

Let me know your opinions, or any other information on the map you'd like to share here!

The bomb struck south of Concord, as the Sole Survivor's house is just slightly to the north-west of Concord, and we can see the bomb clearly hitting directly to the south in that shot.

The glowing sea wouldn't be in the city proper.

Meh, The Glowing Sea was just a sidenote, I was more interested in seeing Quincy mentioned.

Hasn't it already been established that the Sole Survivor's home is in Watertown? Concord is quite a considerable distance from there, unless there was some relatively new info that I perhaps missed.

From the e3 footage is pretty hard to miss that the protagonist house is just north of concord.I would add to that that it is located in the minuteman national park.I would post what I think is evidence of my last statement, but I'm on the phone, not at my PC.Basically, in the e3 gameplay, where you see a mortar being fired, you can see a statue in the background that bears a striking resemblance to the minutemen monument in the omonimous national park.( Google it!)

This. Also the minutemen statue can be seen on the pip-boy radar during the settlements workbench portion of the demo. The only changing factor would be if Bethesda took some liberties in moving sites for scaling and setting purposes.
