I'm confused on how ammo works in this game.

well lets hope when he weighted the missles for the launcher he used harmless ones ;p

Inert practice rounds. They paint them blue so you can tell them apart. Actually, since the Missile Launcher is a made up weapon, all he has to do is research missiles enough to get a rough idea of what they should weight and then apply artistic license.

Ok... taking ammo weight into account...

If a rifle weights 8 lbs, and I load 1 lb of ammo, will the effective weight of the rifle become 9 lbs?

yay you can add! and no ammo and the rifle are seperate
So you can carry 18 pounds of rifle ammo without a rifle

What?! That doesn't even make sense. It was pretty much a yes or no question.

Does anyone have an answer? Basically in HC, is a loaded weapon heavier than an unloaded weapon?

I'm guessing weapon weights are "loaded" and we just pretend they don't change when there are fewer cartridges left in the magazine.

HOLY SNAP! A GUY WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WHAT WIT DA HARD CORE MODE!

Yo man! Nah, I'm just playing with you. Ammo has weight ONLY in HC mode.

Stims and Meds only heal over time and have weight ONLY in HC mode.

GET IT? Cause, that makes it harder.

In FO3, when you drop a loaded weopon, all the ammo stays in your inventory, it isn't considered to be in the rifle, so I think it would stay the same weight.

I doubt it. That seems a little complex for a game where you can't smoke or go to the bathroom.
