Why do some people keep saying it's february?

Because its the February issue.

Magazines are strange about dates.

So, basically a February Issue comes out in January ?

It's based on pull date. The February issue hits shelves in Jan but is pulled from the shelves in Feb.

And the issue that arrives Jan and is pulled Feb is the TES issue.

Subscribers generally get their copies "early". The stores get it later than subscribers, and to give the stores a full month of time to keep the magazine on the shelf, the publisher ships it like halfway through the month before. Right now the issue on the shelves should be the January one. Unless they do something special for the holidays.

Yes, it comes in January. If you subscribe, you'll see it early in January, probably within the first week, maybe sooner. If you don't, you'll see it on store shelves where you can read it FREE of charge (seriously!) sometime around 2nd or 3rd week of January at the latest.

Still, my guess is when it is released it will be almost immediately available for online viewing, so being that I'm not sure whether that magazine is sold in my coutry (Australia) I think I will just read it online.
