Since I got the game on 11-11-11, I have made 2 different classes. A Wood Elf archer that evolved into a mage. So I made a new character; a Breton mage. Well now he's become a Breton warrior.

I'm confused about what I want to play as, so I'm curious as to who is the best all around(excluding Nord, Imperial, and Orc).

ive restarted 6 times allready, but planning to stick it out on my battlemage (imperial)

eventually you will have some idea to what you want, its all about personal preff.

Edit: it seems imperial is allround, good magic use and Combat use + extra coin find is allways handy

i find my nord warrior with 1h and shield to be very effective..get the lords stone and your all set

I am sticking it out with my archer/thief/assassin.

Doesn't matter. Races start with very slight bonus' to certain skills but they all cap out the same, a breton with a sword is the same as a nord with a sword by the time you've dedicated yourself to it.

The only thing you might actually want to consider is the special ability, they can be quite strong and often favor a certain style; high elves magicka regen obviously being aimed at casters for example, but the cooldown is so long on them that they're overall not that big of a deal either.
