Since the 1.9 patch EVERYONE has problems with FPS drop and darkness! (please, people with 1000000$ PC's stay away and don't post here).
I have come from a multiplayer game, and i am very very angry! Skyline FPS drop when on top building, Statue FPS drop when near barrels with fire, or when shooting from under the leaves...
OFC i died alot of times before my last kill to max nanosuit or ceph because of that.
WTF! WHAT where you thinking when you enabled the new effects by default, and put no on/off button to them??? I tell you what, NOTHING.
I am sure that many many others with GTX 260 and the GPUs around that performace suffer from FPS drop. All worked fine on 1.8. WHY THE F* couldn't you simply make the 1.9 the same as 1.8, and add option to enable/disable the special filters, colors, shadings etc. for those who have the necessary GPU power. Why did you enabled it to everyone?
I really don't care what you do to my account for insulting and all, but i dont fcking care!!! Game is unplayable now for these GPUs, and strange, because in 1.8 i didnt have 1 singe problem with FPS drop. I regret buying this game now. What do you think, i and the others will run to the store to buy another video card just to play this with decent FPS on simple high settings that worked before? Because that will not happen. I uderstad that you made some mistakes, bugs still here and there, BUT COME THE F* ON! this is bull$hit
I have lost all my desire to play this game.
For me the 1.8 looked very good. Wanted to add something more, good, but make it optional. Things like this encourage piracy.. Why should i buy the game when the developer $hits on my face? Transforms a game that worked good for many people into something that works ok for 20% of them. What should the other 80% of us do? i guess we go and *fap*
this is the second time i Rage and quit the game today, because of FPS drop.

Did you turn off DX11 and the HRT? I'm playing it just fine on my laptop with a GTX260m and a core 2 duo @ 2.4GHz

BTW, a GTX260M is equivalent to a 9800GT for a desktop

the first 5 words where enough for me to determinate your smartness level (no offense!!!)... since when does GTX260M or no M support DX11? And i have the HRT off OFC. everything is STOCK, just as it was set on the 1.8, NOTHING is changed.

i have a worse grfx card than the 260 and the game ran smooth as silk on high aka the lowest settings but now it is unplayable in MP.

@nightwolfy he didnt mention he installed DX11 pack or the Hi-res pack either.
but as i said before my 9600GT ran the game (high settings) just fine with ZERO slowdowns in MP but after patch 1.9 the game is unplayable on some maps.

Have u turned off High Resolution Textures. Also the game might detect u have dx10 card and might run some new effects using dx10 api....

and dont rage and insult game devs...there are many sticky posts which you can refer to.

My whole point was that I have a non dx11 card with the near bare minimum requirements and I'm running multiplayer at 30+ with the 1.9 patch on Very High and I haven't seen any problems with my performance.

Why shouldn't i insult? Because as far as i see they are insulting me and others. What do you call this if not insult?
Paying for something that works fine, then after an update it stops working as it should.
They are GAME DEVELOPERS, not some hillbillys, they should know these problems. It's not like I or George made this patch and "oh, i forgot that 60% still have meainstream cards... my bad", we are talking about guys with years of experience.
