Conjuration Assassin

Post » Thu Dec 19, 2013 8:47 am

Race: Altmer

six: Female

Main Skills: Conjuration - Sneak - One Handed - Archery - Enchanting

Minor Skills: Illusion - Destruction - Alchemy

Apparel: Thalmor Gear

This is my first attempt at such a character and I just want explain how I want to go though this play through and was worried that I would be under powered later on in the game. My aim is to play as an assassin but with using bound weapons as my main use of attack. I will have two enchanted daggers for those close kills but for long range I'll be using bound bow and for one on one combat using bound sword. I've not used bound weapons and have no idea if later on I will become overwhelmly underpowed later on in the game. I have destruction but that will be a backup skill for lighting only as I don't want to rely on destruction as a main way of attack. I am using alchemy for poisons but I assume that I can't use them with bound weapons.

As I understand it my use of bound weapons is determined by my skill of said bound weapon. What I am unclear on is, does the damage output of the said weapon change as my skill increases or does the weapon stay the same but as my skill increases my damage output change?

Sounds like an arcane assassin. Very fun build. If you take the mystic binding perk in the conjuration tree, your bound weapons will do as much damage as a base level Daedric weapon. Add in the archery and one handed perks, along with sneak and your enemies will be dead before they hit the ground.

You'll need the Quiet Casting perk, otherwise you'll announce your presence when you conjure your weapons.
