Conjuration is insanely strong

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 6:45 am

Title says it all really. For example my newest character I made is a ranger/hunter using pets and archery. My bound bow is doing 80 damage at level 13. A Fine Imperial Bow only does 23 + 12 with arrows. That is absolutely bonkers. Oh yeah Frost atronachs are absurd in the low level game.

I can only imagine how brutal a 2-hander weilding summoner could be with pets as well.

Oh yeah bound weapons and their ammo have no weight. So sweet.

That is all. Anyone else enjoying conjuration?

For sure! Its not until u get a daedric bow And arrows that you can match a bound weapons damage. Atronachs are great for pulling aggro while you sit back and get sneak crits.

Loving Conjuration! Just opened up Expert level stuff, so now I can summon Dremora Lords, and use Banish Daedra and Command Daedra to screw around with enemy summons! So powerful!

Just wait till you can summon a Dremora Lord. If you think Conjuration is strong right now then you are in for a nice surprise lol. Then you get the Two Summons master perk and things just start bordering on the ridiculous with two Dremora Lords out...

Dead Thrall is really fun though finding new humaniods to make permanent zombies and what abilities they have. Master Necromancers are especially neat.

Mages guild/college thing

Have to be 50 conjure to get it, I was having to use normal bows and arrows before I got conjur to 50 by powerleveling it with soultrap. Now though I can level like normal. I do have 4/5 in the increased damage with bows perk and the conjured weapons do mo edamage perk as well its really strong how those perks stack

They are suppose to be like that, bound weapons are equal to daedric in damage however true daedric weapons will be better after you improve them, the only advantage then is your bound weapons are weightless.

Tempted to make a new character focused in Conjuration and Archery, since Conjuring up a Bow seems pretty damn fun followed by resurrecting anything and everything I can to fight for me.

Not too sure if I can be bothered or not really, I've just beaten the main story and I've put about 50 hours into my Level 40 Khajiit. Starting all over seems a slight pain in the neck.

Having permanent Zombie followers though seems pretty damn immense.

As far as I can remember no. There is no spell where you can summon deadra permanently.

sometimes i look at my dremora demolishing every living thing in a dungeon and think they're too powerful. then i try and kill the enemies they kill for me and die after 3 hits

the problem with conjuring is when u take that glass cannon mage hiding behind 2 dremora and put him in full heavy armor thats enchanted and fortified and upgraded and everything else. a very powerful conjuring tree works for a mage class. it does not work for a classless system

this is y i RP a mage class and dont get anything from the other classes tree's.

Just stick Daedric Armour on your dead thalls, you cant tell the difference under their helm anyway.

On master difficulty a summoned Dremora Lord is worthless at high levels. They get killed in 2 hits while barely scratching anything you fight.

Level 35 on adept (first playthrough, give me a break) and Conjuration is by far my favorite school of magic.

I was just doing the Thalmor Embassy quest and I forgot to bring my invisibility potions, so sneaking by all those Thalmor guards was not an option. So, when I came to the room with 3 guards, I just summoned a Dremora Lord and shut the door.

Literally a minute later, my Dremora walks out of the room with his weaponed sheathed like a boss. Would have never been able to take all those guards out by myself. And the best part was that they never even saw my face!

It is strong because it's the only magic skill that levels with the skill of the player and his/her levels

Its good but its missing some bound weaponry. No bound 2h sword or hammer, no 1h mace or axe. Thats pretty crappy imo, I want a bound 2h sword.

How many perks are required for you to invest into smithing to get daedric swords and to also be able to enchant them after sharpening them? And how many are needed to master conjuration and also improve bound weapons?

I think bound weapons win out when they can't be sharpened, but then having 2 permanent summons might make up for it I thinks.

Honestly it seems I do much more damage with my Nightingale Bow with ebony or daedric arrows than with a bound bow and its bound arrows. The really frustrating part is that you can't see what damage the bound weapons are rated for. I have absolutely no idea what they do. I've heard that they're equivalent to daedric items... but I'm assuming un-upgraded daedric weapons. So a daedric bow that's been upgraded at the grinding wheel to Legendary would still do far more damage... even more if you add a high quality enchantment to it.. or two. Honestly the lack of statistics is why I've stayed away from using bound weapons. However summoning a flame atronach while fighting frost trolls is always a help.

Also, no bound daggers. That svcks.

Is your 1 handed weapon skill very low by any chance?
