If it would be NOM-friendly it would be great to Summon Water, or Summon Food, or things like that....ALso it would be great to be capable of summon npc`s

Wouldn't the food and water vanish after you ate/drank it? I think you want something to materialize food or water which would probably better fit in the alteration category IMO.

Also... When is this going to be released? I'm super excited. And for the summons that stick around can you figure out some way that we can gain some experience from that constant magicka burn? I'm using a magicka based experience mod and I don't get much of anything for no mana casting.

Just had an interesting thought; why not have the ability to summon things like large rocks to block the way or something? This goes off the spoon idea, but I think is more useful then summoning a spoon, as its a rock wall.

Wow, I'd actually forgotten about this mod. Hasn't been any news in a while. I hope this project isn't dead.

I'm being remarkably stupid. Who would want to cast a spell merely to move an object they would normally pick up? Ugh... my "summer break" consists of working and taking summer classes and this is what happens when I don't get enough sleep. I'll come back to this later, when I can remember my own name and figure out what 1 + 1 equals

Couldn't it be simply on casting a spell player->additem "item_ID" 1? I mean, couldn't you just plug in any miscellaneous item ID and have it be conjured to the player?

Fliggerty's Artifacts has an item that will randomly summon various things that can be useful, harmful or simply bewildering which is seemingly along the lines of what Tes96 is asking about

An interesting feature for a mad mage but impractical for many of my characters as bound armor and weapons are. They are mages, they have no armor rating or weapon skills  Still they've always wanted better summonable creatures so they can keep their slaves out of battle and at their back - they don't want to risk their food supply in battle after all.

Great, I've always wanted to play a conjuration-oriented character, so I'll definetly start a new one once this comes out.

Does that mean that ElderScroller isn't going to include options like that to summon miscellaneous items?

I think this mod could be the essential conjuration mod, it adds new features and doesn't remove anything that us mw players already like about conjuration. Keep up the good work!

No idea - I mentioned it since it's a working concept that one could conceivably use to figure out how to have a summon_misc_random spell  If there's a working script already in existence for it why not use it rather than create single separate spells to facilitate a pale echo of the effect. I could see the appeal of a summon random spell for my mage much more easily than a summon spoon, broom, bucket, and sheers spell.

Summon Random Misc sounds like a good spell. xP I'd use it. If not just to see if I could furnish up my house with it. Or tower for Telvanni characters.

Summon Random does sound interesting to me. It'd be a great little rp bit for untrained mages (ok this time I'm going to practice my summon skills in this field away from people, oh look I summoned a spoon, opps I was going for a skeleton but not too bad, better than that last time when I summoned an anvil directly over my head) or just a random, thing to throw out there. Of course I can also see where it would be difficult/impossible to script so I mentioned the working mod with a similar function I'd noticed earlier, that way I don't seem like an n'wah asking for the impossible

Well I was thinking more of having a spell summon each item individually. That'd mean you'd have a lot of spells since there are many different miscellaneous items. I think that would be be easier and better than summoning a random miscellaneous item.

It'd be easier in the scripting I would think. Summon Spoon spell would just be on cast player->additem "misc_com_spoon_wooden" 1 or something like that.

Sounds like a very nice overhaul, pretty much ticked all the boxes for my wish list re conjuration. Will give it a go once it's released too.
