Conjurers > Dragonborn conjurer

Post » Sat Dec 24, 2016 6:11 pm

So running through cragwallow slope with a high lvl char (lvl 70) mainly using a sneak conjuration build, i summoned a frost atronach on top of an arch conjurer and they fought a bit then they both stopped, he took control of my atronach. I had absolutely no idea they could hijack atronachs, lucky to say i think it only works on atronachs as my wrathman destroyed them. Anyone else notice this? Or have i just been oblivious to it aince skyrim launched?

Edit: i also googled it and couldnt find anything about summons being taken over by conjurers, so maybe its not commin knowledge?

Let me extend Greetings,

Welcome to the Bethesda Forums! (Nice to meet you, I'm King.)

In what you are saying, the only similar experience I have had is even Magnus turned my Frost Atronachs against me.

Thanks for the welcome! Also it was 100% consistent that they turned my atros, i tried fire and storm ones aswell and they all turned against me, he had a small loan of a million atronachs by the time i realized what was going on (combat stopped, fighting stopped i thought they just died) unfortunately for me i had to rely on my measly 35 destruction and slowly wittle down all of their health. Also when i was hitting them and they came searching for me and it bumped into me it said "Arkynyx's _______ atronach" it didnt attack me (dont know if sneak or because it was mine)

Ive never seen this before either, everytime i start a conjuration build i start fresh and usually am using a different tree by the time i hit arch conjurers, this is the first time im using a character and unlocking every skill tree to full.

You can do the same to their summons by using the spell Commanda Daedra.

This... why I don't rely on deadra conjures at really high levels.... It is as it happen's really fun to use their summon's against them...

Fie, for the Conjurers, they will need to conjure up a grave for themselves!

From my personal experience:

Dragonpriests, Thalmor-Mages and Conjurers do use the command-daedra-spell.

However, they do it only up to frost-atronachs. Storm-Atronachs and Dremora-Lords are safe. :)

That means for me only: Do not let your char attack an Dragonpriest until you can conjure Dremora-Lords and Storm-Atronachs!

Interesting!

At which level of conjuration?

Did you have the 80th-perk for potent-atronachs?

I want to say no...cause by the time I would get that perk, I would have tackled Krosis already.. I'll have to try it.. soon as I get a character that will get conjuration high, none of the characters I have now will.
