Very wonderfull, but i think it your'be look like more resolution(Alittle pixel's addition) one... How do you think?

About armor, maybe you will take some pieces of Hedgehog's 12 Armor ;)? I can help you with armor, if you want. When i have free time - i can work on some meshes(I have allready some intresting armor, and some Hedgehog fixed armor), etc. Hedgehog gave permission to retexture and remodel armor, but we should remember his name in readme.

Also: I can send you some textures replacers of ApelCiH and Punkjey, i think you will like something there. They give you permission to use anything of stuff made'd by them.

Edit: (I'll started to pack all stuff, but allready is night, so i will finitto pack all stuff in morning, and than - will send it to you. Hope you will like it (: ).

Templar cuirass has reached his final level of detail.
His helmet......just doesn't seem right, the detail just doesn't fit well imo, but other than that it looks great!

Yea, it looks like that, it also looks like it is made of feathers or something. Isn't it supposed to be solid metal lol?

It does not look like it is made of feathers, it looks like metal engraved with a design, at least to me.

If you force Connary to waste time by remaking it, it means we all have to wait longer. ;) It looks beautiful Connary, declare victory and move on. :D

I'm not forcing anything. I'm just offering my feedback.

Stop playing with our minds! WESTLY

A smashing success with the helmet Connary. Very regal and military with the golden purity of discipline. To think such artistry would have brought any computer to its knees when MORROWIND first came out.

Are you using gloss maps now that they work? It still won't help with reflection maps being brighter than ambient light, but it will make it better. Full normal maps would also be very cool as OpenMw will support them whenever it comes out and PeachyKeen is looking into getting MGE to support them.

Gloss maps are supported with the Morrowind code patch.

You mean bump maps being brighter? Those ugly night glows? It is fixed too. But in beta testing. Check MCP thread. (http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?s=&showtopic=1026266&view=findpost&p=14854992)

Edit: Oh wait! I've posted on Connary's thread!? I was gonna hold myself until the release. :P Great work Connary, as always, I can't find the words really. I love the Mudcrab. And the mask, and the ponds, and the...

What I like most about your textures is how well they combine. Every one of them pops out of the screen, creating not a mosaic or a total blend, only great harmony.

PS. I'm also very curious on your new castle textures. ;)

Oh cool, didn't see that on the MCP list, but yeah that's awesome. very helpful for a modern look on shiny stuff.

I agree with Lettuce above me, I was not trying to convince Connary to redo anything. I just offered m opinion, which, at the time, was that it looked like a bronzed brain...

@connary
I've been following your efforts and lurking your wip threads for quite a while now, but haven't felt the need to post seeing as there's quite alot of encouragement and feedback already. Your attention to detail and texture clarity is fantastic! However as more and more of this compendium is revealed, more and more I'm catching myself noticing that everything is tending towards an earthy brown palette - not much color variation.

Maybe this perception is just due to the screenshots you've selected to share.

Here's hoping that this won't mod MW into a masterpiece of sepia. <_<

nah, you're not hallucinating Tetchy (well, perhaps you are, but not about this :P ), as Connary mentioned this himself in the first post...

I discovered my tendency to add red/yellow to bring a more warm look to Morrowind. Now i think its not a good idea break the cold, unpleasant look to the game. Some nice textures has been changed for more gritty ones.

although i think the warm-brown tones are great, i'm excited that he's decided to work on incorporating a little more color variation to his beautiful works.

can't wait!

Mystery solved: WESTLY WINS?????

http://img18.imageshack.us/i/helmetb.jpg/

Ancient Roman Helmet

Glued With Care
The silver laurel leaves on this ancient Roman helmet were glued to the piece of armor with a fixative that has survived for thousands of years. Scientists studying the glue have found it was made of a mixture of bark and animal grease.

A breathtaking piece of art imho.

About the low pixel density in some places of the helmet, remember, its a low poly mesh with a basic map.

Er no, I think the glue was used only for the Roman Helmet.
I doubt the Imperial Legion would use 'a mixture of bark and animal grease' to decorate the helmets of their soldiers. :P

Maybe they cast some really strong permanent spell of alteration on that part (or just use scrib jelly).

my game will not be the same until you release this
how do you plan to release? will it be one gigantic download or will it be in pieces?

my suggestion is that you release Connary's graphic compendium: world
Connary's graphic compendium:statics
Connary's graphic compendium:armor
Connary's graphic compendium: creatures etc. etc

Before I got home from work I was just thinking of asking this question. Yes I'll perfer a more modular release just like connary did earlier before the take down.
