Indeed

This cant be Morrowind, surely you are conning us all and posting pictures of a next gen game. :P

That helm is fantastic, simple yet beautiful, the perfect amount of rust, wear and tear.

You outdo yourself with every screenshot Connary! :)

Connary, I love how you're keeping the true spirit of vanilla Morrowind in mind as you make these fantastic textures, but still have your own artistic stylization to them. The Nord doors in particular look fantastic. I really have nothing critical to say, so I'm just going to tell you to keep doing what you're doing now! :)

Does the Graphical Compendium also change heads and bodies/clothes ? I have already installed the better heads /bodies / clothes mods out of habit and feel stupid now, even though I found out about Connary's Graphical Compendium just recently.
Are these mods included or did you make your own meshes for bodies/clothes?

I'm sorry if this question has already been answered.
Or just lets say I'm sorry. My goodness this work looks awesome.
I stopped playing Morrowind because of you, connary!:)

No for the heads. I consider out of any reasonable timing try to redo all faces. Im working in the vanilla clothes.
It seems that some people stop to play waiting for this mod, a bit overwhelming

Same here. I decided to get into Morrowind about a month ago (after about a 6 year break) and one of the first things I did was look for texture packs. All I wanted was basically what Connary described - an updated look, but with the same Morrowind feel, no real additions or changes. After tons of searches and try outs of mods and looking through screenshots, I finally figured out it was Connary's mods I wanted. And he had taken them off PES. :(

I stumbled upon this thread just a few days ago and I have to say I'm relieved you're making this, and I've decided to not even start playing the game until it's released, whenever that is (please take your time). Everything else is set up and ready to go. I've even got my character saved just outside the census office ready to begin.

-And so far from what I've seen everything looks great.

I haven't played Morrowind in roughly 1.5 months due to my first playthrough of Oblivion, real-life obligations, and work on a Half-Life 2 modification two friends and I have been developing all summer. I plan to make a new character for Morrowind soon anyway, so I'm waiting on this so I can get a fresh experience. :)

I'm not wild about the comberry plant. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely an improvement over the original, but it doesn't seem to blend into the overall design the way the rest of your work does. I think the two things that bug me are that the leaves are both too green and too large. You've got a very subdued color scheme, and so the color of the leaves stands out, and the size makes them even more noticeable. It's still good work, just maybe not as good as it could be, if there's any way to say that without sounding like a [censored].

Everything else, especially that iron helm, looks fantastic as usual :)

I'm gonna have to agree.

The leaves look to detailed compared to the land, and it sticks out.

Im not convinced at all with the Comberry work. So real but not so well integrated into morrowind. I needed a honest opinion about and yours go in the same direction than my feelings.
I will redo completely this plant.

It is a beatiful planet, though now that the contrast has been pointed out to me, I can't not see it. *chuckle* Now, is it just me, or does anyone else think that the rug edges should go to the end of the rug, or at almost to the end?

My problem with the comberry plant(which is beautiful despite my objections, I must add) is actually with the berries themselves. They look too much like graqes to me, although I suppose that since the dunmer make comberry wine and brandy, they must be similar to graqes, it still wasn't what I'd imagined. All of your texture work is beautiful though Connary. I'm greatly anticipating this(and also hoarding the copies of your mods I still have on my computer, since unlike some others, I can't quite wait to restart Morrowind in the mean time). Best of luck!

I'm waiting for this mod to com out as well before continuing with my game... ;)

Regarding the Comberry plant: I like the general look, colors are a bit off, though. Suggestion: Less hue/saturation for the leaves, and have the berries still retain their red and blue color, but give the darker areas a more blueish tint and the lighter areas a more reddish tint.

Whilst the current comberry plant is too photo realistic to blend into your compendium , can you release that one seperately as a resource for the benefit of those of us that appreciate photo realism, ? thanks.

I have also gone on a Morrowind strike until this is released.
All of your work has been above and beyond anything I ever expected to see from Morrowind when I first bought this game years back. Thankyou very much for all the dedication and dauntingly repetive work my friend. I appreciate it. :foodndrink:
It truely is a collection of art.

Lol, nah??, i dont think that modify all the rug meshes is a necessary work. You will be stay more preoccupied by daedras than the rug look.

Its curious Tulliard. These are real berries. The plant its called Beautiful berry. Excessively brilliant and luminous for the dry world of the island. I forgot that doing this plant.

Maybe the "com" stands for "common" berries. And if you look at the original art, they look like draqes as well, only more sparse.

I actually like the comberry bush, I would love to see this in the game rather than those sickly things that I have grown accustom to looking at. If those make you unhappy I can't wait see to what you make that you are happy with

Nice berries! I've been blueberry picking the past few weeks at a local orchard - they grow in bunches like graqes, there are so many! :D Our little wild blueberry bush in the back yard has a sparser yield (though definitely more flavorful).
