About the muscular look, i must say that this can be a good base but i will search for some kind of reptilian skin or something animal to add details and hide the excessive ''bodybuilding'' look.
Perhaps a sick skin plenty of sores and 'bubas' to get the feeling of the blight creator?

Don?t know if you have reworked corprus weapings and wraqed corprus meat, but I allways though that the original dagoth Ur had little evidence of having corprus himself..., even when vivec tells that he is infected and deformed from this disease..., instead.., the original model seems brutal and wise, but perfected rather than deformed as the others rushed and blistered and deformed monsters, so If you are to experiment with more skin detail, maybe some evidence of diseased skin rushing and blistering spreaded trough his body would work...., (Only my opinion in a constructive manner).

Tes 96, for the moment I must be concentrated in finishing morrowind.

That's perfectly fine, Connary. I don't want to rush you in the slightest bit. Take your time with this.

I agree.

As I've got all the time in the world to wait for this and don't even play the game anymore due to me modding so much, I don't mind waiting at all, take as much time as you need. :)

The kiss of sin tainting the skin sickly. Reminds me of David Bowie's LOOK BACK IN ANGER music video:

haha, that's funny. I do the same thing too. I don't play the game; I just mod it.

Can't wait for this to become available... although a lot of my current mdos won't be compatible with, I gather. Ah well, most of the time I'm stuck modifiying mods and fixing things, anyway.

So, specifically what kind of incompatabilities will this mod entail? Will we still be able to use pluginless replacers for creature meshes (Vivec/Almalexia replacers, etc.)? How about Better Bodies/Clothes? Will the various lighting mods still work?

Uff, a lot of incompatibilities, a lot. Hundreds of meshes has been remapped to adapt to the new textures. The use of third part textures its not an option. Evidently for the basic ones, like landscape, architecture its not a problem but my meshes invalidate the use of other textures for objects, armor, clothing, etc..
The most secure way to do this is the use of plug-in replacers that changes both meshes and textures.

The texture work on the mudcrab is very impressive, especially the underside. Though it is a part hardly seen in game you still give it the same love and attention as everything else.

Fantastic work Connary! :)
