The mod its still in the works in several ways. Im doing a revisitation of the entire map, a kind of betatesting trying to find things that dont work. Some time has pass since i have made some landscape textures, this helps a lot to have a new point of view about my old work.
I discovered my tendency to add red/yellow to bring a more warm look to Morrowind. Now i think its not a good idea break the cold, unpleasant look to the game. Some nice textures has been changed for more gritty ones.
Other works are more mechanical, like add the reflection maps to all the mesh bottles or all the mineral containers. I think that some help in this matter can be marvellous. If anyone want to help please PM me, in any case i can understand if nobody want to make this boring task.
Other front of war are the UVmaps in trees, caves, etc. They are....nasty...need some work. Like the reflections any help here can be fantastic, in other case i will left untouched the majority of this meshes, a pity. I need to concentrate in clothing and other miscellanea textures.

Also im contacting all modders that i want to include any work of him to ask for permission (basically resources, corrected meshes, etc...). Soon i will open a post about permissions to ask if anyone remember who made x texture or Y new mesh. I lost track of a lot of work included in my HD (a computer change in the middle).

Other side of things im inquiring the best way to upload this, license, etc... I know that i can stop the piracy of some material but i want to make clear which are the situations that this can be used. Its irresponsible from me if i upload the mod without any word about the limitation of use of this material. Also i want to have the tools for fight against extreme situations.

P.D.: About the help, evidently it will have preference anyone that knows well Nifscope but in other case i will explain every step clearly. Its a pure mechanical work.

Hi Connary,
I rarely post, but this time I'm going to make an exception. I can't wait for this mod, I use all your landscape and architecture textures and they're all great. I'm glad to see you modding. Sadly I can't really help out (I'm barely useful with the CS, and I svck with artwork related things). Good luck.

(I hope this post doesn't kill the thread)

Sounds fantastic. I assume you have seen nich's http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1003375? If I had any idea about reflection maps, I would jump at the chance to help. *chuckle*

While my PM box is full at the moment, I'd be honoured if you included any of http://starwarsguy9875.awardspace.com/Mods.html in your compendium, if credited properly and everything of course, but I trust you with that. :)

Thanks StarWarsGuy but your mods are final art. Your touch, your vision. Have its own life an no need to be included in my mod or other. Im using basically resources like better meshes or resource textures (base pixels to work on top) and only in a few rare cases i want to include some final textures that i fall in love time ago. Like Earth wyrm hanging moss from his swampy swamps (contacted and waiting for an answer).

Why thank you. :embarrass:

If your looking for something to include though, mesh wise, there's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7514.

I'm sure your p.m. box is full. So I can make all the base textures you need. Do with them what you like. It'll just be a tiled jumping off point.

Because i hate billboarded trees, :flamethrower: . I like the peaceful look of hieratic trees that dont care at all about me and dont follow my movements. Sorry about that, a question of taste.

Hey, I understand, I used to hate them just as much.

But would you be interested in trees like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjZc9ayGlaM?

Honestly, I like them when viewing them from the side, but I have to agree that I prefer fully 3 dimensional trees for 2 reasons, one, as you stated, they don't follow you when you look up at them, and two, they render better with MGE! :P

Hey Connary, thanks for the heads up. I like to think about this mod every once in a while and know its nearing completion. ^_^ I absolutely love the details on your doors, and the small peeking holes in the center. They really add to the atmosphere.

But would you be interested in trees like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjZc9ayGlaM?

As for trees, sure, those fully animated monsters in that vid look nice. But I personally prefer Morrowind's original trees, they just suit the game better in my opinion. I think the devs have found very good harmony in choosing the right tree for each region, especially the Grazelands, the West Gash, and the Ascandian Isles.

I meant a replacer for the original trees using the methods of tree making in that video.

I can think of a few mods that are just mesh improvements!

I'm sure Connary will impress us with whatever he does for the trees. I think the problem with the original is more with the texture than the mesh, it just looked like a bunch of pieces of cardboard taped onto the tree. And if you don't like whatever Connary does, billboarded trees are by their nature also mesh replacers, so you can still use them :)

I agree, my Grazelands tree replacer would svck without his textures. I could make my own, but his were already there, so...

Its' based on a mesh with DX10 geometry shaders, it's a spark of genius, but that is so far off for MW that it's ridiculous at this point. We are talking about a complete MGE remake. Well, not complete but, 80%.

What about for OpenMW?

Hey Connary, if you want, you can use any of my tapestries (not only those from the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6486, but the 100+ from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6768), as well as the coins from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6655 or any of the shields from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6383 or Art of War Museum... I'm aware some are a bit different from the originals or a bit out of the lore, but you can take your pick, if you wish... ;) I use all my stuff in my game together with your older world texture and they fit in together quite well. Especially if you also decide to use Oriphier's excellent weapon artifacts replacers - they are made one for another... :)

Cheers,
PKR.
PS: I'll be out of town until Tuesday, so consider a "yes" by default to any question/request you may have... :)
