So... Connary's mods

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 12:34 pm

Thanks?? So kind. A small pet for you http://img402.imageshack.us/i/mgescreenshot10.jpg/

Let me illustrate my face when I saw this: http://www.growvc.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/amazed.jpg/

I looked like that at my monitor for at least half a minute...

Wow, Connary, that's a really awesome skin for the guar. It just gives me the feeling that this is a living creature, and not only some bits and bytes on my computer.

Great guar's texture!!
Maybe it would be perfect if it were coloured slightly more (like the original which has a warm skin color).

I think it is because it is in shadows. It will look different under direct light.

Connary => one could ask Armed_Defender to remake the harness/saddlebags of the guar.

Because I saw that he wrote that one can suggest meshes to be remade to him. :celebration:

Ah right! for the shadows

Look closely, its coloring does indeed match the original (you can see patches of its true color on its head and on the saddlebags), it appears to be more grey in that screenshot because Connary is using MGE XE and the guar is standing in a shadow :)

EDIT: Connary, I didn't think the guar could get any better than your previous texture for it, it figures you'd be the one to surpass it :D

EDIT II: Damn, upon returning to the thread I discovered that I was ninja'd.

this my friend... is absolutely ****ing awesome. wait, no it's more than that but my words just fail to describe.

I've been following this thread for a while and I have to agree. That is simply stunning. I stared at the screen for a good few moments to make sure I knew what I was looking at.

Wonderful job Connary, as always.

Connary, that is the most beautiful Guar retexture I've ever seen! I can't even imagine what the rest of your work will look like.

Dear Lord. I find it hard to believe somebody hasn't hired you to do this professionally (maybe they already have???)

Are you revamping all the stuff from your old texture packs? Also, are you planning on doing faces too?

Either way, I'm a huge fan of your work. I want to pet that guar.

Very beautiful texture!!
Really very freak out (already that I am afraid to each time I go in water in Vvardenfell  ).

The texture makes Iguana too much (especially on the sides of the head).

Nice guar! Spectacular textures, yet again! This will give me reason to actually use the pack-guars.

Rollie and Corky will be most stunning! :celebration:

The slaughter fish texture is great! Very threatening!

I cant imagine a living being more Morrowindish than a Iguana. But well due its morphology the Slaughter its in the middle between a monitor an a iguana imho.

Don't let the trolls get to you Connary. Their opinions should not matter to anyone until they learn to express themselves properly and with respect.

In other news, I'm absolutely amazed by the quality of your work in the screenshots you've recently posted. I often think that textures just can't get better than that, but you never fail to prove me wrong. Cheers, and keep up the good work!

I think the only way now that those animal textures he has shown here could get any better were if they were real and they already look close to that. I swear, I think if he released just the fish and the guar, it would probably go to hall of fame over night. haha

It is not while saying unceasingly: Connary you are a god !, that the assistance to improve his work.

More once I gave a constructive opinion on the work of Vurt, and he appreciated my constructive comments, and often took them into account to improve its mods.
