Connary's Retextures Gonne?!

Post » Wed Feb 23, 2011 8:28 am

Thanks, I'll try that and post the results after breakfast :)
EDIT: It works fine! Any idea why the BSAs didn't show up in the game even though they were registered in the INI file?

The engine looks in your textures folder first and then the BSA.

I am on an incredibly slow dial-up internet connection so I don't know that I'll be able to download the very large and very awesome files that have been linked to in this thread. Does anyone know of a place that simply hosts Connary's Imperial Housing textures? I have most of his other texture packs, but I am missing this one. I will try sending him a PM and email, but I figure it can't hurt to ask here too.

That was one I was missing.

Also, after looking again, turns out I actually now have(including this one) 33 of the packs plus one not listed, the dunmer stronghold being the last, but it shouldnt be a problem to see find out which belong to that. Also, turns out after looking again at the number of textures, I would have to say probably a 4th of them are actually outdated, not just a handful, but thats just a guess.

Just checked in on my own files, and unless I have something mislabeled as Connary's works I have 36 individual packs of his textures - though all of the individual creature texture packs that were released are compiled into mass creature ones. I suppose I can go ahead and toss out a listing of what my collection has:

Spoiler
Connary_BedFabrics
Connary_BitterCoast
Connary_Caves
Connary_CeramicPlates
Connary_CreatureTexture_Bethesda
Connary_CreatureTexture_CreaturesX
Connary_Crystals
Connary_DaedricMenace
Connary_DaedricShrines
Connary_DunmerStronghold
Connary_DwemerBox-Coin
Connary_ElderScrolls
Connary_FineVials
Connary_Grazelands
Connary_GreatHousesHlaalu
Connary_GreatHousesRedoran
Connary_GreatHousesTelvanni
Connary_GuideMaps
Connary_IlluminateBooks
Connary_ImperialDragonStatue
Connary_ImperialForts
Connary_ImperialHousing
Connary_Lava
Connary_LostDwemer
Connary_MixedPottery
Connary_MolagAmur
Connary_Mournhold1
Connary_OldMournhold
Connary_RedoranCrab
Connary_Sewers
Connary_SmallChest
Connary_Urns
Connary_Velothi
Connary_Webs
Connary_WestGash
Connary_WoodFurniture

I suppose if any of those are missing from the package at all, or if anyone needed something they don't have, I could probably help out. Though, to my knowledge, Connary is pretty open to tossing the files to anyone who asks himself even though they are not hosted, so I imagine a PM to him would work fine too :D

Either way, just let me know.

Thank you very much tronvillian! It's very kind of you to take the time to do that for me. I appreciate it! :^)

Oddly, that file didn't contain some textures that I expected. Could somebody with all of Connary's textures tell me if he ever replaced "tx_woodfloor_brown" or the various "tx_wall_stuccostone" textures? I could have sworn that he did, but since they're not in his Imperial Housing pack I think I am mistaken.

I have all of my connary textures unpacked in one folder, and those textures do not seem to be in it. Odd. Were you using AnOldFriend's "ImpHousing"? It is described as "sort of an unofficial add on to Conarry's imperial housing textures" and does contain the "tx_wall_stuccostone" textures.

Sorry im lost in the plot. I received Bycotes's PM but right now i need to know exactly which textures are the evasive ones. I buried deep my real old textures and i need the exact info to start an archaeological research.

Please Connary, don't worry about it! As tronvillain seems to conclude, I was mistaken. I have the files I need. Thank you tronvillain for uploading them and thank you Connary for creating them! :^)

Ghostgate should emitt some flash particles like from the vanilla flash spell, that'd be cool and shouldn't be that difficult to make. Maybe those particles could even be activated by script when player comes very close to the gate. Just spreading some ideas!!! ;) Can't do it myself at the moment, cause my laptop doesn't run MW.

Aw, thanks! :) I LOVE the Ghostfence and the daedric on the side of the building, it looks really cool  and also um everything in the first shot. Especially the yellow glass bowls, it may be silly to point them out with the beautiful table and rug and everything else, but I can't stand the vanilla yellow glass texture. (So basically, can I like make a cult and worship you? :D )
Oh and I totally agree with skydye, take as long as you need :) the results are beautiful!

Fantastic to see new screenshots, as always. *chuckel* This may be an odd thing to single out, but I love the fringe on the rug.

This is exactly what im trying to do. Im taking the same care on details than on the entire photo. If anyone point to a different detail something is going well.
I was worshipped in the pass Ghanima, isnt the best idea cause my bad daedra form take command of my mind.
