Connary's Retextures Gonne?!

Post » Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:21 am

I have tried to find them for the latest days but nowhere can they be found.

Anyone knows a working link to download them or possibly if anyone could be so kind to put up a massive file containing all of them?
I really loved his retextures.

Also I wonder if it was the unofficial morrowind patch that fixed the map bug when you added new islands and such (thinking about TR).
Or was that a similar addon?

And oh another thing, can I use any ENBseries with Morrowind or was it a certain version of it needed? Dont remember any more.

Thanks once again my friends.

Why not try emailing Connary with a request? I'm sure he would accommodate you.

Morrowind Code Patch has a patch to increase the world map size - I recommend v1.6.

ENBseries gtasa_v0074g_sm1.4 is the most compatible, but does not support Motion Blur or SSAO. 0075 versions do support Motion Blur and SSAO, but cause lighting anomalies in conjunction with MGE distantland. You're better off however just using the latest MGE test/dev build which now includes depth based shaders like Depth of Field and SSAO, and also has superior water effects as well as godrays which are not available at all with ENBseries. -_-

Good point. Never thought that far. ^^

Thanks a lot. I'll try it out now when I have installed it all. Hopefully my load order skills haven't been to lowered by my absence from Morrowind and the Elder Scrolls.

EDIT: His inbox is full. :(

Thanks for the re-post of the BSA links , Kalian , I missed them in an earlier thread . Also , Wiwiland has Connary's Beastiary in their files ( in French : Bestierie de Connary .... think I got that spelling ) . Various textures are still in the Elric archives and are available there and finally a Russian site has some of Connary's work as well ( tesall.ru ) . That's about all I could locate but apart from one or two texture packs , I think it is quite comprehensive . A good place to search is Jacoby's ES Search as I located the Wiwiland packs that way . I AM still trying to locate West Gash by Connary though . Hope this helps the Connary addicts amongst us ( and I'm glad to say I'm one of them : completely brilliant work ! ).

No problem.
Also, I know about tesall.ru, I'm an admin, lol. We have only some of them.
As you said, the best is Yacoby search. Really cool thing.

I think I need to make a Creature's pack, what all of you tink about it?

Oh absolutely ! The creatures are a must have ( I've been checking some out after striking it lucky on Wiwiland ) Good thing those DL's don't require translation : there is a French read me as well as Connary's original in English and the file structure seems to be all in English as well , so this a vote for the affirmative , Kalian . ( Yes , I know I already have them , but others don't . Its always good to share around our Connary goodness ! )

I'll second the thumbs up on the creature pack. By the time I had discovered Connary's retexes they had all been taken down. I DLed the bsa you put up before and I would definitely be interested in the creatures as well. Connary is a master and I can't wait for the new compendium to be completed. Until then it's nice to be able to still have some Connary goodness! :)

Haven't played Morrowind since a couple of years. So I don't now if I have to register the bsa files like in Oblivion? Or just copy them to data files and play!

Thanks

You will have to register them in the in file. There is a nice tool to do it: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=29

I'm having a wee problem! Pluto kindly pointed me in this direction when I was searching for some replacers. I downloaded them off 4shared, and the first unzipped fine, but the second one keeps telling me the file is broken. I deleted it and re-downloaded it, and it's still giving me the same error. I'm using 7zip to unpack them, if that matters, but it did the first one fine.

Try to use WinRar. Put two parts into one folder, then extract.
Or, yoo cant unzip Creatures pack ?

I hadn't even tried Creatures, I was slowly making my way through towns, then trees/soil, then maybe the mobbies. It's the second half of the other pack that wasn't behaving properly. I shall try that, though, and d/l WinRAR. I had it on my last PC, but I felt guilty about not buying it, so I never put it on this one when I got the new one.

Umm, I downloaded those BSAs and the BSAReg tool, but when I moved the BSAs into the data files directory and ran BSAReg on them, it didn't update the .ini file. How would I register them manually?

Note: I'm running Vista, if that makes a difference.

Yep with Vista or Seven the BSAreg Tool bugs >.<
Thus best is to go to record the BSAs with the hand in the .INI. ;)
