Connary

Again, nice screens and very true to the original look of Morrowind (kind of the opposite i'm doing with my mods heh).

Can i ask what resolution you use for the textures (landscape; like ground, trunks etc) and how many mipmaps you went with?

I don't suppose you have any new bestiary entries for us, do you? :icecream: In particular, I'm eager to see the Dreugh, Goblins, Durzog and Fabricants (if you've gotten to them, if not then nevermind :P)

EDIT: It probably goes without saying, but your new screens look fantastic. In particular, I love, LOVE, the water damage under the drainpipe in the Balmora dock picture.

It's amazing how little details--like the water stain beneath the pipe--can just add so much. :)

Great screenshots.

And I love the detail of the Balmora docks and of the 6th house box (i think it is  ) in the cave. :goodjob:

Even assisted with magic work of this quality would still take some time. Looking beyond incredible Connory.

FINALLY, I found an ACTIVE thread about this compendium :P
Connary, I've been playing MW with your old textures for a while, and if you don't like those textures, there's no telling how your compendium is gonna look! and if anyone is still looking for a retex of Better Bodies:

If you can give us any perception of how much work you've done already, or, even better, a rough "expected release date", we'll all be very, very grateful :)

The new pictures are faultless Connary.

A quick question, what areas will the Compendium not cover? From what I have gathered you are not doing bodies and heads, right? I was hoping you could give a list so I can go hunt out the best replacers and textures for my un-modded Morrowind that could compliment the Compendium.

1024x1024 basically, only in a few places 2048x2048. I never touched the standard mip mapping config of the dds plugin and always create mip maps for all my textures.

No more beast for now. Silt strider consumed all my energy.

6th house, yeah.

I dont want to make more mistakes about a release date. Sorry. I prefer to release a mod that i consider of good quality

I will explain before a release date but basically the silverware enhancer its a must, Vvanderfell visages II faces its also needed or other head replacer of your liking. Try to avoid head replacers with beautiful people all around, i think that kills the ambience. Perhaps i will cut some weapons and armors from the compendium release. All the rest its included.

I guess that Westly′s newst face relapcer would fit the bill perfectly then for this replacer, although I kind of supposed that you might come up with some heads or BB replacers for this

I bet we have to be very very patient again. :P

Vvanderfell visages II? I thought only a first part was released. Is there really a second?

And yeah Westly's head replacer is going to be good.

I feel that armor is just as important as clothing. It is a very visual part of the NPCs and the player character. Weapons are like that, too - it is what the player sees the most of when he/she has the weapon drawn to attack cliffracers and other monsters.

Up to you what you want to release or not. Would you prefer to be an Aedra or a Daedric Prince of Texturing? :P

Totally agree! We need more aging, warty, scarred and crusty npcs. Its a little surreal killing caves full of smugglers who look like catwalk models...

@connary

Even if it takes a while, I will wait for your texture/models package. I even use your mods in a different game.

(Your "Immersive Sector Backgrounds" mod, I am sure you know what game it is :) )

Keep up the good work!

It is a good game, but I play it unmodified. They updated it to 2.6 the other day, I hope we do not loose Connary to X3TC again!

Hey, it's been a while since I posting in these quarters. I just got a new computer, vaio, and the first thing to come into my mind was to get Morrowind running on it again.

Connary, where art thou? I've been looking for your textures for several days? Is your super-pack coming out soon?

Yes. it seems than Westly its working in a more realistic replacer.

But you ALWAYS say: There are a few things about the compendium I dislike and I want to change them. :D

Lol, my fault

Sorry, i dont remember exactly but i think that Visages have a second version or revision.

It's good to see your working on this again.

Hi Skydye nice to see you here. Congrats for your recent release.

CAUTION, ONLY FOR BETA TESTING PURPOSES, this version kills the vanilla game, a planet collide with important structures in a khaak sector.
Yeah, X3 TC its a great game. Sometimes i need to fly to a far galaxy.
I had been waiting the 2.6 version of the game. Now i will release the final version with new backgrounds.

Not coming out soon. Needs a bit of work.

Living now in Caldera:
The people there had decided to construct the towns gates due the constant attack of all kind of beast. Also the walls has been finished all around the perimeter and the town layout has gained some interest. The doors can be activated. The first position its semi opened to allow the guards to exit the town.
