Both screen where amazing. The Netches look fantastic, and the slimyness helps the overall effect. I hate and love the shineyness at the same time =p ! Amazing work as always Connery.

God, those faces are so realistic, especially the one on the right!
Are you going to be redoing any of the creatures or lesser daedra?

Only problem with those heads is it makes the hair look mighty poor...

edit: not that they looked bad before, just now they look low quality

Yeah, they look like bad wigs. Maybe the blight made everyone bald. :P

I feel like Morrowind needs a hair overhaul after seeing these pics. Is it possible to preserve all the old hair models and use alpha maps to make the hair wispy at the ends?

Connary, i have a question for you - how you make pseudo reflect on texture? I want to learn how to do same trick.

Don't bothr asking; I asked before but he said that he'd rather deliver quality work instead of being rushed by a release date... scroll around the previuos page, you'll see his own answer :P

The two imperials look fantastic, you are really giving Westly a run for his money with those. I always hated the hair in Morrowind though unfortunately I have never seen any replacers that are faithful to the original.

The Netch is spot on, I am looking forward to seeing what other creature has had your makeover.

There are a lot of hairpacks around, but all of them are just with Bethesda's original textures. what we really need is a good hair retex. Ren's OB hair for MW has really good textures, but it only comes with three hairstyles in three colors. If anyone knows about a good hair retexture, put a link up plz!

Yes a lot of hair packs are around, but none of the replacers are in keeping with the spirit of Morrowind, Ren's though nice, is a good example of this.

None of the head replacers I know of use the vanilla textures. Most aren't even based off the vanilla designs.

I agree - the Ren and Corean-style hairs are beautiful and incredibly well-made, but they are just too modern. I find it really distracting seeing Morrowind characters running around with anime hairstyles.

The Imperial heads are amazing, by the way. Bit of competition for Westly here? ;)

STDs/CTDs: The more women/mods you use, the more likely it is you'll get one.

Its a wonder I haven't got mod AIDS then...

Some of Corean Hair make very nice fantasy styles, like the short messy styles and the long female styles. :)

Hey Connary, ay idea of how much work you still have to do for this mod? or do you just have to retexture some of the small stupid things, like unique tables and buckets and such?

Hey Connary! I hope your week is going well! Wow, this thread went really off-topic about hair and head replacers. Stay on topic guys!

Hey Greendogo?? All is going well, thanks.

People i will not take the faces work, noooooo. I made only a few faces for fun.

Good try issue, XD, but i will not said nothing about a possible release, you know. I don't know exactly the amount of work that needs rework. Im doing right now a extensive modification of all fabric textures, looking for real tribal arts that suits the world of Morrowind like Baluch rugs or other Iranian kilims for. No more out of place motives in beds, rugs or tapestries. In fact I found several pieces that seems designed by the Redoran family.

Hey Connary, forgive me if this was asked before, but is the Compendium Modular? As in, will we be forced to download the entire thing, or will you release it in separate files later on?

If you're doing beds right now, I might as well give you a tip: I think all the beds in your old replacer looked a little too neat, like every house was a hotel. that's not exactly how my bed looks all day :P
You could try to make beds look a little sloppier, like someone just came out of bed. you could take MVP for an example; they did a real good job making beds, but the beds didn't look "morrowindish" enough( a flower motive!)
