The "claque that applaud by command"? I assume you meant "clique." Anyway, did that really need to be said? It's not even constructive criticism, boiling down to "I don't use your textures because I don't like you in some way", which is just weird. *chuckle*

Really some pics are noteworthy, but i prefer not use your works in my own game because as rule of thumb i not use, or reduce to minimum works of people that i dislike in some way, and because i'm not like the claque that applaud by command, i have nothing fear and nothing to lose to say the truth, also if hurt, and in mt usual lists there are already 3 so-called great modders that haven't any space..

Rule of thumb, if you don't like, you don't need to download or use, but is there really a point to this comment you made other than to be hurtful to someone that you don't even know because you feel safe through the anonymity of the internet? This comment of yours is unwarranted and not needed on these forums.

Regards

Matilija

P.S. Personally, I don't feel that anyone not contributing mods to the community, has any right to be so disrespectful to those that do. Best to bite your own tongue, than the hand that feeds you.

Your work is just great.
Take the time you need connary to finish this mod
because this is going to be the best texture mod ever. :celebration:

The screen shots look fantastic Connary, I am very much looking forward to your compendium release. :)

CONNARY! How are you doing!? I hope you're having a good year so far! I'm happy to see you around the forums!

I like the screens, the docks look pretty cool! Anyway, good luck and have fun :)

Thaks for the feedback. Im also happy to see you all. Really such a nice feedback push me to finish things. Yeah Greendogo, a good year i must say, i wish you the same good times.

What mod can the Balmora docks be found in? From this picture of yours: http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/9646/balmoradocksatdusk.jpg

Answered by Papill6n. Im in need yet of a modder to create some little quest for this add on but well i suppose that starting a new post with this matter will push things, i hope :whistling: .

Ok. Why dont take your time supporting or helping people do you like? People here express his opinion freely, insulting gives a good measure of your intentions. Fail.

........................................................................................

Finally i founded a solution for the Cyrodiilic that i like, Very near the original metal bottle but a little more ornate. What the people thing?

To be honest, I like it ^^ The cyrodillic brandy that is. Though it is pretty ornate for booze XD Then again it's expensive booze so I suppose it all works out.
Edit - As a matter of fact I can't find anything that I would even consider disliking in that screenshot...

I know, right? I spent ages drooling over the tapestries, bonemold and new books too. I think it'll be like playing morrowind for the first time all over again when this is released - that same sense of whoa, im in an alien world. Usually texture replacers jar not because of quality, but because they don't blend into one consistant style like connarys do - in that its all so good nothing jumps out at you. Hence, you get total immersion.

I just have to say I completely agree with Von Djangos.

The brandy is impressive, best alcohol texture I have seen for Morrowind. The quality you aspire to is shocking Connary, just look at the detail on that candlestick, not just content with an aged white effect, you even went so far as to give it an etched pattern.

Every image you post each model and background models are fully textured, you surely can not have many more things to go?

Connary, I have a question that has concerned me for a while (I don't think I've already asked it, if I have then I apologize :P)-- Are you redoing the Better Clothes textures as well (since from the look of http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/4183/shopinginbalmora.jpg screenshot you do use Better Bodies)? I ask because it would be a bit jarring for some of the clothes to have your textures, and others to have the originals (or for some shirts to mix and match, as I believe at least one of the Hlaalu shirts does). If you weren't originally planning on it, do you think you could? :D I would also ask for CanadianIce's robe replacer, but I feel like that would be pushing it :P

Your work looks great, as always. Don't let dumb people get you down, haters gonna hate :P

Wow, im so happy that the new shots generate so favourable opinions.
Yes Akallabeth seeing some shots its seems that the work its done but no. It needs a lot of work. Now im working finishing the Gah Julan Bonemold, dozens of different pieces that need to be worked, weeks of work. Nearly done for now with the exception of the bracer and a little work in the cloth wrapping. Taking care only of clothing and armor its an overwhelming project.

http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/258/gahjulanbonemold.jpg

For some reason the bonemold shield of telvanni's house looks really different from the generic bonemold pieces. due this fact i created one with more freedom. Its a decent piece for telvanni art? lore asking. I changed the basic tree graphism for this floral deity face. Opinions please.

I love what you're doing with the armors! And everything else, including the Cyrodiilic Brandy, but especially the armors! Ah!

I'd love to make a little quest for Balmora once I refresh my memory on Morrowind's quest system...

Yay! Hi, connary! :wavey:

Thank you for posting screenshots and discussing a bit about your recent progress. :) Your texture work is phenomenal. I'm glad to hear that you are having fun working on it, even if the progress is slow. I work on my mods like that, too - I already have so much work for my college (university) courses, I do not want to turn modding into unpleasant work.

Are you making back-up copies of your work? I know so many modders who have lost all their modding progress because their computer hard drive broke.

EDIT: The forums have updated recently. I don't like the new changes, they hurt my eyes. Fortunately, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1082909-forum-style-alterations/ (if you use Firefox or Chrome). I use the code http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1082909-forum-style-alterations/page__view__findpost__p__15788751 (which isn't in the Opening Post). http://i468.photobucket.com/albums/rr50/Alaisiagae/Random/BGSF%20Tweaking/bgsf_what_snapback.jpg (minus .jpg lossyness).

 That Gah Julan armor is fantastic. Finally, my Redoran character can play in style :D However, I'm not entirely convinced of that Telvanni shield. I really like the design, but do you think you could work the http://uesp.net/wiki/File:MW_Armor_HouseShields.jpg back onto it somehow? Also, it seems way more detailed than all the other armor, which makes it stand out a bit (or a lot). Not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a bit striking.

Do not listen to Saint-jiub, the original was rubbish anyway. The new one is a major improvement. Saint-jiub if he spends time reworking everything to every players ideal then he will never be finished. :D

Not that I am trying to hurry things along at all. ;)

The new Cyrodiilic brandy is gorgeous - I use Korana's replacer at the moment, but I'll have to seriously think about switching once this is released. As for the new Telvanni shield, just... wow.

I like the new shape of the sheild, it reminds me of the elven sheild in Oblivion, but the Telvanni symbol was quite nice. To be honest I just don't know where the face came from. It looks unbeleivable, and if it were given to a noble or a unique npc it would be amazing. But the sybols in Morrowind were always my favorite part. My opinion, but I'll love it either way lol. Keep it up man all your work is just fantastic.

That candle  The brandy looks good as well, the metallic appearance seems like a good idea to me. While the Bonemold looks very nice, I don't think I'd use it, since I liked how the original textures looked.

I think that the new Telvanni shield is amazing, but it doesn't look very 'Telvannish' to me. Perhaps if you placed the original symbol back and made this one unique?

Finally, good to see you back Connary!

By the way, looking at that Gah Julan screen again... Do my eyes deceive me, or did you retexture the Better Bodies mesh as well (looking at the hands)? I really can't decide, it's been so long since I played with the original BB textures.

EDIT: Or are they just the original hands?

I guess they are just the original hands, looking at the shape of the fingers. I'd love if someone did a new-texture of the BB skins, preferably the male ones.

Definitely we are a bunch of purist here, lol. Every time i take an excessively free approach i feel insecure. I like the shield but the tech how its constructed dont seems morrowindish or definitively Telvannis to me. Every time i lost track the purist chants in this places return to me to the right path.
I will redo the shield, sorry Akallabeth, but we can add this shield with is own lore quest if someone offers for a little quest creation, or if anyone needs a shield for its own mod i will send the piece of metal.

Original hands. Im using BB and its a must for me but i will not retex any mod since i dont finished my compendium.

Hey that could be a custom shield easily (i happen to like it as the default shield but still..) and with a quest it would do quite nicely. I just installed the hi res green look for Mournhold (sorry but I dont remeber the author) and I was wondering how′s your Mournhold going to look Connary

Or you can your shield as an eleidons ward replacer if you haven't made a replacer for it,yet.
I realy hate the look of eleidons ward.XD

The reason it is not being used as the Telavani shield is because it is not in keeping with the original, I hardly think suggesting it replace another shield which it looks even less like is a good idea. A new unique included as a quest is the best thing for it. :)

Anyway, I liked the look of Eleidon's ward, I wonder what the Connary version looks like.
