Are there any ramifications for letting Kimball get assassinated if playing non-Legion? Do the NCR troops get a debuff for that? Or is it just gameplay/story segregation?

I hate how they don't even mention him in the end. We don't even know who is his successor.

I didn't notice anything at all really ( no end slides anyway) all that seeemed to hapopen is a few people at the dam don't want to talk to you afterwards. (this was with the guy getting sniped AND if the 'bird blew up).
Was a bit pointless really.

The only thing I noticed was NCR troops mentioning the assassination everywhere I went. :shrug:

Actually I think it's hilarious that it doesn't matter if Kimball lives or dies. After hearing his speech, I was pretty much convinced that he never did any actual governing anyway. Seems very appropriate that his death has no impact on the state of affairs in the Mojave.
