I seriously hope so, nothing would give me a more of a nerd-gasm if they announced they were developing an Elder Scrolls MMO - based off the updated engine from say, Fallout 3/New Vegas. Dont forget there has been rumors about this since 2006 - so it is possible they are well into development and approaaching Alpha at which point they would make the offical announcement. However, I am expecting the announcment perhaps at next years E3 (2011). Any other suggestions on what you would like to see in an Elder Scrolls MMO?

Could Bethesda be to the Elder Scrolls what Bioware is to Star Wars?

The answer to ESV being an MMO is no.

Bethesda's sister studio Zenimax Online would handle an MMO.

Bethesda would continue making single player games, including ESV.

There is a pretty good likelihood that there will be a TES MMO. It will not be in the main TES series though (so no "V"). It will also probably be on a completely different engine as the single player engine currently in use would not be able to even begin to manage an MMO (plus the game world would be tiny).

Yeah, it's quite possible that an Elder Scrolls MMORPG is in the works but it wouldn't be TES V and it wouldn't be developed by Bethesda.
