Considering Returning My Player Tattoos Mod

Post » Mon Apr 19, 2010 12:55 pm

To put a long story short I had a rather difficult life altering event happen to me in the last week of the Christmas holiday. Now coming out of that I have, regretfully, fallen out of love with Oblivion and modding Oblivion. But I am considering coming back to casually modding Fallout 3, I've already made a medium sized perk pack which I did enjoy working on it. So next I'm considering reworking my player tattoo mod from way back when. While I've done some minor tinkering and researching I have one concern that I'd like to take of first.

That concern being that there might not be anymore demand for my mod. So I'd like to hear from you guys just to make sure that my labour won't be in vain.

If you still want the mod, go ahead and make it.

Well I'm considering either starting it again or making a small worldspace mod, either based on my hometown or Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic. I just love the Dominican incase you were wondering. :P

i like the idea of tattooed people ingame, in real life i have multiple tats. however, one thing that bothered me about them ingame is that it seems that all NPC's have the exact same tats on them. i understand that it can be alot of work designing them and then having everyone have something different. Fortunately, that is not what i am suggesing, only a little bit of variety so that every NPC isn't a clone one another.

Tats never appealed to me but I can see the draw. Too many people get them without querying themselves on what it would mean to them and what it would say to others.

EDIT: Translation; go for it I don't care either way.

I like your tattoo mods! The only problem I've seem to have with them is when I use the showracemenu and switch to the custom slot race the game crashes except when I first exit vault 101. Also the vault 101 entrance and start new game selecting the custom slot race crashes the. Its a really good mod! I also like your raider one also. So yes please start it over or improve upon it, your mod is the only mod that doesn't require nvde mods, I'm not fond of having to be forced to use a nvde mod just to have a character with tattoos. See the video in my signature? Thats your tattoo mod being used!

That issue is pretty much what I want to try to solve.
