Consol commands for ps4 and xbox 1

Post » Sun Jan 31, 2016 5:40 am

The biggest problem for me and maybe a lot of you guys too, is that there are no console commands for ps4 or Xbox 1. And I killed the railroad before I got ballistic weave, Ad Victoriam!. And I just realized this recently. It is possible to get ballistic weave on a console command, but it's on pc. I do have a FULL set of heavy polymer combat armor waiting to be upgraded, Bethesda. But I'm just asking for fairness throughout the console. I really do love this game, and I want to see it get better and better. Thanks.

Unfortunately, you will have to wait for mods to get your Ballistic Weave. http://gamerant.com/fallout-4-ps4-xbox-one-console-commands/ is Bethesda's official response on console commands for consoles.

The Console Commands are Life Savers for me, and they even imrpove the unimproved Settlement System alot (TCL Command).

For starters, you can't even put ballistic weave on combat armor (or any armor). It goes on clothing. Not armor.

Basically what you're saying is that a choice you made in the game prevented you from getting something. It's not an 'oversight' on the part of the developers or anything like that. This is how role playing games work. You made a decision, and because of the decision you made there's a possibility that is no longer available to you. This isn't a fault on the part of consoles not having console commands. That's a major distinction between PC gaming and console gaming. It's part of the price you pay for the plug and play convenience. Mods are going to be coming to consoles in some form, but don't expect to see them anytime real soon. It's going to be quite a while before you get them. I doubt you'll ever have console commands. There will almost certainly be mods to unlock ballistic weave though. But...expect to wait like 6 months at least before getting them. Fairness has nothing to do with it. This is a lot more complex than Bethesda just deciding to do it on a whim. There are legal matters involved here.

And for that matter, the Creation Kit hasn't even been released to PC modders first. This has to happen before mods will ever come to consoles. There's a new patch currently in beta and getting prepped for release so they're focusing on that. After that, the Creation Kit will likely be coming. Then probably the first DLC, and after that mods will probably be coming to consoles. If someone can confirm a different order, please correct me.

Ballistic weave can triple your armor cause you can put it on underclothes + on a hat. So more than 300 armor in the end, both ballistic and energy resistance.

If you slaughter a faction I fail to see why should be getting their perk, and I say that as a Xbox One user. If you had been a tiny bit more patient and actually took time to know the Railroad, you would have had access to the weave, and then you could have slaughtered them.

Patience is a virtue.

I don't need to cheat my way around, so having no console commands is no problem at all. If i [censored] up, i live with the consequences.

Console commands are cheating. Now they have their uses, I use tcl to become unstuck, but that's it.

Now I can use any of them to do whatever I want, cheat wildly. I don't. Now if the hordes of console users had access to this function, would they be as restrained as I am?
