Console and Fraction Poll

Well... yes.

But how is that more scary than a vampire lunatic in body armour leaping across the room aiming his SMG at your face?

The lunatic has a goofy face, courtesy of Brink's art-style, whereas the emote smiles at me in my dreams when I sleep. :cryvaultboy:

:foodndrink: :celebration: Straight up, brother! :celebration: :foodndrink:

Am I mistaken or is there more Resistance overall in this poll versus the original faction-only poll?

Nope.

It only looks that way because the PS3 has no Resistance.

They're probably all playing... well, Resistance...

It's about the same. However, since the huge flow of new people in the last two weeks, we got out numbered to the Security. It means we need more ammo.

XBOX 360/Security FTW

I like the Security better, and as a big bonus, they have the right clothing to make my Jesse Ventura minigun character. My sneaky ninja Operative is going to be awesomer too with Security clothes.

Well I would imagine the Bethesda forums would be more evenly spread than Splash's given that most of the games on this site are multi-platform.

Gamepad = Controller, it's just another term for it. I had just assumed you were never into the console scene, which is why I made the adjust comment.

Oh, I thought you meant a keypad type of controller. Like http://gamingweapons.com/image/razer/nostromo-keypad/razer-nostromo-keypad-01.jpg.

Nah, I was just referring to how most PC gamers talk about how the controller/gamepad is inferior to the point of near unplayability, just because it isn't as precise as m/kb.

Lol, I guess it could be argued that KB&M is more accurate, but I really think it would depend on the player's skills with the controls.
I'm sure there are plenty of console gamers out there that are as accurate as I am with KB&M.

Interesting. More 360 players will start out with Resistance, PS3 players will side with Security, and PC is just about even.

Nah, it's really been established that if PC players were to play against console players, the PC players would utterly destroy the console players. Ever heard of Shadowrun?

Consoles do use aim-assist basically every console shooter uses it. Of course both pc and console controls have a different feel. :obliviongate: WATCH OUT! :obliviongate:

I use computers more so I would want to play it on the PC but mine svck so I got to go with Xbox 360 for me. And as for which faction, I chose security but I really like the resistance for fighting what the believe in.

Wow, the tables turned a bit. Now Resistance out-numbers Security on 360, and it's even on PC. Wadda ya know.

Well, it was the first (and probably last) game to allow Xbox 360 players to play cross-platform with PC players. What ultimately ended up happening was that mediocre PC players absolutely destroyed above average console players because of how much more precise m/kb is than controllers. There was some case study that went into greater detail about it, but that's essentially why there isn't any cross-platform between the two today.

EDIT: Fixed a grammar mistake.

It was actually a great game; objective-based, good teamplay and diverse classes. It also combined xbox and pc players - the pc players of course dominated. Sadly the community died a painful death
