I know there is a command for "player.getav karma" and the console will output the karma level, but is there one for player reputation with a faction?

Speaking of which, what does karma do in this game?

The reason I wanted to know is to see if there are any consequences to killing soldiers of a faction when you are hidden and you get a sneak attack critical, making it a one hit KO. When I tested this, none of the member became hostile, and I didn't seem to lose karma or reputation with said group. Just wondering if this is a good money farming method, you know?
